Not many people to listen to my genre of music, so I shall pick out a few good ones :)
I listen to chillstep (melodic dubstep), which is very relaxed, not as heavy as normal dubstep.

Aranka, could you possibly choose your favourite 2 or 3 from each of your lists? I am interested in listening, but not all 10 and want to hear what you think are the best.
I wish I could do that but I really can't.
With regards to music I don't really think there is like a few songs which are really way better then the others in this list. Depending on my current mood and/or feeling I one time might want to listen to a certain song, while at another time I enjoy another song more.
Since there is so much variety in the songs and each have their own strengths and melodies I can't discount some in favour of another.
Personally I think reducing the hundrerds of bands, thousands of albums and a multitude of thousands of songs into seperate top 10 lists for each genre is quite an achievement in itself (yes I really did listen to 10.000+ songs in my lifetime and yes I remember a large part of them).
The reasons why I made my selection so far with these 20 songs is because of:
Symphonic/New Age songs[/B}:
1) Era - The Mass.
It's the title song of the album with the same name. The whole album actually is an excellent multi-channel demo resembling the likes of Enigma and/or Deep Forest. It's agressive but not gimicky, with a very nice bass and excellent detail and seperation.
While I could have picked multiple songs from the album itself I would go for the opener because it starts the album off with an incredible effective sweep, filling the room with sound quite nicely. It's a clear demonstration of how multi-channel works with music.
2) E Nomine - Der ring der Nibelungen
While not really symphonic metal as such, it's hard to really describe the genre this music would fit into. It's not totally symphonic, nor totally nu metal. Seemingly a symphonic metal techno track seems to fit them best, even though that description in itself says nothing. What E nomine in essence does is mix electronic sounds with chorals and clerical lyrics.
In my opinion this particular song combines the best features of techno, classical, and religious music. The voice of the main narrator (or is it "chanter"?), though it is not musical, is deep and resonant, capable of either a quiet purr or a full-on Voice o' Doom. The mix of German and Latin lyrics creates an otherworldly feeling, and the choir provides a good balance to the "chanter." The music itself, as I said before, blends classical and techno themes, to the point that (if they are flexible enough) fans of either branch of music should find something here to enjoy.
3 Gregorian - Voyage Voyage
Gregorian is a band which features pop/classical fusion projects in which they mix well known pop and rock songs with Gregorian chants.
Although the formula is quite simple and it almost seems like they're just recycling old songs it does sometimes lead to nice results to hear the songs you've known already sung in this way.
The reason why I chose Voyage Voyage is because this is one of the first I heard from them and liked it ever since.
4) Celtic Women - the voice
Lisa Kelly, the soloist on this song, has an extraordinary voice. She sounds so clear and pure it's almost like a boy soprano. The rhythms and accompaniment are captivating. There's an eerie sound to it, that's in keeping with Celtic mythological feeling, though I'm not quite sure what the song is about. I just love this song and never tire of it.
5) Clint Mansel - Lux Aeterna
This instrumental song featured in the movie "Requiem for a Dream" probably needs no explanation. It's one of the most famous pieces of instrumental music there is and rightly so...the composition and feeling it conveys is just pure class.
6) Haggard - Tales of Ithiria
There are many reasons why Tales of Ithiria deserves the praise, that i am certain will be showered upon it. To start, the songs are beautifully constructed to convey a range of emotions, though melancholy permeates through most of the album. And it is this ability to inspire such strong emotions in ourselves that makes Tales of Ithiria such a beautiful Album. The vocals throughout the album are simply spectacular. Susanne Ehlers shines throughout the album, and really outdoes herself in the song Upon Fallen Autumn Leaves. The male vocals too are enthralling, especially the clean ones, though Nasseri's aggressive growls bring their own bit to the table. It is the piano and the army of violins, however that i love the most, and are enthralling throughout. The classically influenced instrumental In Des Königs Hallen is somewhat different from in tone from he rest of the album, but leaves a very strong impression, even though it is just a little over 2 minutes in length. The narration that runs through some of the interludes is also done exceptionally well, especially in On These Endless Fields, that sparks beautiful images as we listen to it.
7) Therion - Rise of Sodom and Gomorrah
"The Rise of Sodom and Gomorrah" starts the album, Vovin (1999) on a very dramatic note thanks to very rhythmic, intimidating, violins. I never thought violins could be heavy. Then, a power chord ensues, and in comes the song's Arabian theme. The riffs are simple and very catchy, and they give the songs their metal-ness, but the fact is they're there to compliment the totally mind-blowing orchestration. The strings on this song are simply stunning. The operatic singing compliments the song and prepares the listener to almost an hour of pure class. Yes, many metal bands use classic instruments today, but none actually reach the actual class that Therion has, and this song is a perfect example of that."The Rise of Sodom and Gomorrah" starts the album on a very dramatic note thanks to very rhythmic, intimidating, violins. 8) Enya - Orienico Flows
Enya's "Orinoco Flow" was the Irish diva's first mainstream hit. It made Celtic New Age music respectable. Enya paved the way for Riverdance, Michael Flatley's Lord of the Dance/Feet of Flames, and the bland Celtic Woman. "Orinoco Flow" is a rousing,catchy,toe-tapping New Age song... which makes it unusual. Most New Age music nowadays is best suited for the spa,yoga,meditation;it HAS to be calming. In this case,Enya gives New Age a beat.
"Orinoco Flow" is an ode to voyages. It's as much about being inward bound as going out to sea. It evokes unfurling the mast,the shifting tides. "Orinoco Flow" has the rousing chorus "sail away,sail away." Ahoy!
9) Adiemus - Adiemus
New Age albums in the 90s tended to follow one of two different routes. They either follow the Enigma route of chanting monks, exotic flutes and seductive female vocals (c.f. Delerium) or the Enya route of downtempo song structures, lighter mystic flourishes and cooing female vocals. The latter is the route that Adiemus have chosen for their 1995 debut, mixing familiar classical and worldbeat instrumentation with the overdubbed vocals of Miriam Stockley. Although it may initially sound like Adiemus are singing in Latin, they're actually singing in a fictitious language invented by conductor Karl Jenkins specifically designed for vocalising (a trick which Enya uses herself on the Loxian tracks of her 2005 album Amarantine).
The comparisons are furthered by the fact that both artists benefitted from a knockout first single to help get their careers off to a flying start. Whereas Enya had "Orinoco Flow", Adiemus had their eponymous song. A perfect indication of things to come, "Adiemus" contained everything that a good Adiemus song should: rhythmic beatwork, soaring strings, orchestral woodwind percussion and mellifluous layers of choral vocals. The instantly recognisable chorus has become the backdrop to many adverts, perhaps most famously Delta airlines, although (as another reviewer chidingly notes) it would also not be out of place on a UNICEF appeal. Its followup, "Kayama", exhibits the same properties to the same high level of quality, but the ubiquitous distribution of "Adiemus" meant that there was no way that "Kayama" was going to oust its predecessor for the title of the band's signature song.
10) Pink Floyd - High Hopes
I think that The Division Bell is among PINK FLOYD's best works. Yes, it is different from their prior works, but that's to be expected. Seen for what it IS--the best work that DAVID GILMOUR, RICK WRIGHT, and NICK MASON have produced--it is truly an excellent album. Although not as lyrically unified as albums like The Wall, PINK FLOYD managed what so few bands have been able to do after losing an important member: preserved their sound intact and yet adapting to the times. Chicago couldn't do it, the MOODY BLUES couldn't do it--but thanks to its talented remaining members, PINK FLOYD succeeded.
The last song, "High Hopes", is beautifully haunting--the ringing of the Division Bell has a mournful, tolling sound to it that fits well with the reminisces upon things long gone. There is a beautiful solo and ascending chord sequence at the end. Though it seems all is lost to time, there are still "high hopes" at the end of The Division Bell, giving it an overall optimistic feel.

Well I think a couple of songs or mixes would be best, Aranka and Dagen (I-Cluster-Europe) got a big carried away. However put as many as you feel will properly show the genre(s) which you like and others would like to hear.
Inactive for 140 days but come back to say what music you like? How come?

I like the Swedish House Mafia remix, unfortunately every time the original came onto the radio I would immediately switch station / connect my ipod instead, since I don't really like Swedish House Mafia. The Rage against the Machine remix starts off weirdly, I restarted my computer because I thought it was broken after hearing the first 15 seconds :D but to be honest I prefer the original, but like what he did to the chorus, interesting changes.
100 song long play-list? I am lucky I am on study leave and need something to listen to while revising English literature :) I shall tell you what I think about it later.
Your song is ok, but as one of the comments says I don't see much dubstep there, though it is a pretty creative song / track, if you keep that up you should be fine to make dubstep as well. However, if you want to make dubstep you should read tutorials on youtube, I tried but one of downloads, which contained all the traditional electronic instruments / sounds, didn't work so I couldn't finish the work :( I would give you the link but it was nearly a year ago now, so can't find it. I used linux multimedia when I tried at home, which is free and easy to download, but at school I used professional software, but it was too complicated. What program are you using and do you have any other songs?
