this is its own folders in Clan forums with names such as FG, CW and such. hopefully this will be created by the Clan and not preset

As a clan leader, this would be amazing!

It should probably be clan managers only, that can create new folders, and move forums between folders.

Normal members are allowed to pick a folder where they want to create their new thread, but after a thread is created they shouldnt be able to move it.

side note: some update to forums would be nice. such as coloured text/ maybe a way to rack up points via upvotes?

lol, while youre at it: suggest Fizzer makes all chatrooms like discord, all forums like reddit, all mails like proper email, etc =p

jokes aside, a way to create hyperlinks with different link text than the link url would be cool, same for underlining in forums with [u][/u]

so effectively markdown in the forums, but slightly watered down
or maybe a [markdown][/markdown] formatting (with full markdown then), to keep it compatible with old forums

Well we host games in Discord, that's not that much different

And sure, native is better ... but then we lose all the stuff you say you want, and let's be realistic, that stuff likely isn't high on the "TO DO" list so it's not happening. And even if it does, it'll probably be members only.

It would also help clean up the clutter of your average clan forum and allow for more organised searching. I don't think it would be long to implement seeing as he already had a template from the forum topic selector

Agree, that is simple, it exists already, just enable it for clan forum. And that should absolutely be done.

+1, this would make things soooooo much easier for clan managers, and considering it practically already exists in the forum's, it shouldn't be too hard to implement in the clan forum??? But then, I have no idea 😆
