though i believe the lvls are pretty useless for everything else, if we knew how many players over lvl 15 or somethign around that there are we would know that that number would represente around 90% of the active players

I'm not sure if 15 would be the cutoff, but it would be cool if Fizzer could give us a snapshot of the counts of players at each level.

Gror, I think only about 22-25 though, not much more. I mean I haven't seen any more than that before anywhere :O

why do you care about levels when the database has the last activity date of all players? would be cool to have some public stats of activity though. for example to help figure out better game/tournament requirements like how long you would typically wait for a game of certain pre requisits to begin and what's the best time of day to create live tournaments.

ps- I would think that would only tell you how many are active or not. You could find out how many people are in X, number of games right now, but that is just a snapshot of that day, not that helpful IMO.

Levels would give us an idea of how active those people are. So if someone happens to be playing 5 games today, but has been gone for a year, they'd still show up as a very low level.

Actually, both sets of numbers would be nice. I think that would make a good Wiki section, that maybe Fizzer could run the numbers on once a month (or quarter if that is too much)
