Before I report this, I just wanted to validate this: Since an update or two, if I have the Warzone app open (Android) and click the main button of my device (that turns off the screen), the app breaks. No matter where in the app I am, I receive an infinite loading circle till I restart the app. It happens on both my devices. Anyone else facing this?

Just tested it on Android. My warzone app stays alive (tested idle and main screen and in a classic game) whatever buttons I press (tested main button to lock, but also the 3 buttons on the bottom) on the phone.

Thanks for letting me know, it might be that I randomly happen to face the same problem on both devices without it being a general problem. I'm using an Asus Zenfone 9 and a Huawei MediaPad M5, in case that makes a difference.

Also, I've never had that problem when the app was opened in the background. It only occurs when it was on the screen when I locked it.

Just installed the latest update (v5.25.0) and still the same. Everything works as expected on my Samsung Galaxy

I've had this problem occasionally in the past, but I blamed it on connection problems. Now it seems like irrespective of my connection quality, it happens most of the times.

How long do you wait for it to load?

Works fine for me on iPhone 5s.

At this point, I close the app after like five seconds because I know it won't load. I tried a couple of times waiting for a minute or two, but nothing would happen. For example, if it can't connect, it will try for a while and give you a connection error notification eventually (after like ten seconds?). It doesn't do that though in this case, even if I let the phone lay around for over a minute, the circle keeps circling.

Could try force quitting the app then opening it again and wait for 60 seconds, any more than that then its unlikely it'll open anytime soon.

That's what I always do, I force quit the app, reopen it and it works just fine. I'm just tired of doing that so often, that's why I decided to share it finally.
