They aren't cheating.

If you translate "Alman'ı birlikte yakalayacağız" from Turkish in google translate, you get "We will catch the German together".

Teaming up isn't against Warzone's rules. You can add them to your blocklist though (click player name > view full profile > +blocklist). Blocklisting prevents them from joining your games.

@Dan i dont know the wz-law, but if the teaming up happens before the ffa started or its the same person, i dont think thats in line with the rules. Those 2 went offline at the exact same time aswell, indicating that they are friends at least. Not sure if i would rule out the possibility of them being the same person just because one wrote "Alman'ı birlikte yakalayacağız".

If FFA wasn't relaying on making teams that'd be cool.
If that would be a team game at least it would be a solid proof for everyone

Sorry Dan you very likely support cheating (I thought better of you)

If they are the same person, you should have reported them instead of making a thread.

If they are different people but just teaming up, it isn't against the rules.

My suspicion is that they are friends and likely used private messaging.

Teaming up with people in a FREE FOR ALL breaks rules. Report to Fizzer if you have proof, especially if multi accounting. The issue is you can’t really prove people are breaching terms of service by unfairly increasing their chances with multiple accounts. Since this is a game where everyone gets the same chance, and is advertised as so, and players have agreed to this condition when accepting TOS, right?

Teaming up in FFAs isn’t against rules:
Colluding: Players working together is not against the rules, and you should not report players for doing so. To avoid collusion, play in 1 v 1 games where collusion is impossible, or in team games (since then the collusion is pre-arranged), or just play with friends you trust.

Same player having multiple accounts in FFA is against the rules:
You shall not operate more than one Warzone account that participates in the same game, tournament, ladder, clan war, or in any way gives you an advantage or gives you points or coins.

Okay so if two people collude before the game isn’t that basically multi accounting??

No because they operate their own account.

If two people join a game to planning to play as a team in a FFA, what is the difference between that multi accounting

Having a team beforehand would still give an unfair advantage.
Also using that logic, multi-accounting in an FFA should be fine aswell.
And in a 3FFA, like the game shown, this argument falls flat completly.

Provability and official rules aside, if you form a team before the FFA game starts, thats just unfair towards the other players.
That is what team games are for.

It’s definitely unfair.

A player manager mod was recently released which allows players to vote on actions be taken against others (like elimination). I’ll suggest having a host-only mode for if the game creator thinks that players are teaming.

For sure it is not fair play by any fair play standard I can think off and I doubt anyone will argue against that. However it is not against the Warzone rules: https://www.warzone.com/wiki/Rules

IMO FFAs are quite a mess and I sympathize here with the moderators. Those are cheap "throwaway" games, where the result is usually caused by things completely out of the players control which then causes frustration. Enforcing fair play in FFA looks way more difficult to me than just scanning the chat for some swear words.

@Norman
I agree that its pretty hard to enforce these rules and i would understand if nothing is done about these things. Just find nice players to play with i guess.
However, i think the rule you quoted has collusions in mind that emerge within the game, which is a big difference to a game that was fixed from the get-go and the host just advertised it as an ffa instead of the 2v1 that it actually is.

Id argue making a team beforehand exploits FFA and breaks Warzone rules in the same way multi accounting does. Getting two tickets for the same ride. Just my thoughts, everything GF said was well explained so nothing much left to say
