Just clarifying something, I also apologized later (something Lawlz of course did not stated, because he is always whining and yelling...), and I explained that I have gay friends, my former roommates were a lesbian couple, so I really do not care at all about his sexual tendencies, however I said I could not respect him because of what he said in the past.

You never gave specifics. For all we know, you could have easily been in a lease when they moved in and were forced to, and using it as an excuse to say "I'm not homophobic/transphobic!"
