For drawing I'm using CorelDraw. However it seems like I have some problems with exporting to SVG with my version, so either I'll wait with the first gaming tests when I finish the whole map, or I'll convert it very soon in Inkscape. It is very likely that the second option will happen.

EDIT: picture in first post updated!

Looks like a promising project. I'd love to play it!
I'm always in for good and accurate historical maps. Yes, there are quite a few Rome maps around, but most of them are very poor on that account.

Just had a wild idea some hours ago: what if I could include more territories? Actually that worked out well, just I had to slightly increase the size of map and rotate the whole work done with an angle of 10°.

Personally, I like the idea. How about you?

Your second version is better. I cant really review properly without a link to the version on warlight. If you have uploaded that yet?

I'm glad that you like the modifications. ^^ About your question, Apollo, the map hasn't been uploaded yet to Warlight, because so far I had problems with SVG conversion, and since I don't want to add much more fields (probably in Parthian Empire), I'll rather wait until I've finished the work for the first time.

BTW current stand has been again updated.

So here you have the link for the map of mine. Currently only Magna Britannia works, I'll open the map for tests, if I'll have at least three whole territories added.

Divide et impera open for tests. The field is about 50% working. Seven magna territories are working (Britannia, Hispania, Gallia, Germania, Italia, Illyria and Macedonia), three more territories are playable (without boni though, it's Asia, Armenia and Sarmatia).

I'm curious, how the bonuses work for now, so I've decided to give it a shot now.

Looks pretty nice, but I wouldn't want to play it personally, since I don't like the very Latin feel.

Fields and boni are wholly up, map is updated. If you wish to take part in testing, send me a PM and when you would be available. (usually I'm online between 20:00 and 23:00 GMT+1, but I'm open for different times, too)

I'm sorry. I don't like this map. It is MUCH too similar to all the other Rome maps, this one specifically:

Thanks for the feedback.

@ Takeshi: thanks for note, link added between those.

@ OnlyThePie: I am aware of the fact, and it is (partially) intentional, that it resembles RoR and Imperium Romanum. Actually I find those maps playable, however they are not accurate in cartographic sense. Out of that, the field naming there isn't accurate either (although there are several flaws in my map too, but probably much less than RoR). Since it is my first work, I also wanted to try working on a proven field, as a so to say learning map.

To fix knowm problems of the previously created versions. As said 2 posts above, RoR's and Imperium Romanum's geometry is not the very best.

I've just recolored the field. What do you think about the changes? If you are mostly liking them, 1.0 will be fully public in some days. Out of that, the map has been renamed to Divide et Impera.

the map looks neat. I have just a little hint: surround the map with a black frame. You wont see it in warlight, but it will help to zoom in the corners more easily.

Edit: if you need help testing your map, it would be a pleasure for me to attend a testgame.

I am needing three to four brave testers, for a good FFA multiday match checking links and boni! Interested parties should apply by sending a message to me.
