I know about Linear A and Linear B, I can't read them though. If memory serves, one of the two has never been decoded; nobody has been able to read it for thousands of years.

"FYROM" is a ridiculous name for a country which already has a perfectly good name ("Makedonia"). Greece is Greece, agreed. Makedonia is (also) the name for a region of Greece.

Furthermore, Makedonia is the name for a historical region which (obviously) doesn't care about present-day borders and contains parts of modern Makedonia, Bulgaria and Greece. To the best of my knowledge, this naming is not a problem for anybody in (the country of) Makedonia or Bulgaria; only a few Greeks take issue with it.

Also, this is just South Slavs. Czechslovakia and Poland is West Slav.

Also, look closer: Slavic names on the map: Monastir (Greek transliteration of Slavic borough, what we know as Bitola) and Melnik (now in Bulgaria). Everything else is too small to read north of Selonika, but there you have it.
