Explain The Difference:
The fundamental difference is in the book the women are carrying. One contains Gods pure words and the other contains stuff that came out of the heart of mankind (70 virgins in paradise,...).

@Tupac Shakur: Then also let me quote my lord with a quote that you won't find in the Koran:

Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. If you really know me, you will know my Father as well. From now on, you do know him and have seen him.” Philip said, “Lord, show us the Father and that will be enough for us.” Jesus answered: “Don’t you know me, Philip, even after I have been among you such a long time? Anyone who has seen me has seen the Father. How can you say, ‘Show us the Father’? Don’t you believe that I am in the Father, and that the Father is in me? (John 14)

Hard to explain the difference without context. All I see is two women holding a holy book and a gun while standing in front of a flag.

Are you saying the guns are inherently bad? The books? The flag? Otherwise I don't see why either woman is supposed to be bad.

Who do you think would win in a fight like that? American looks like she knows how to fire the gun, but that's about it. Muslim one seems like she would toss a few grenades, do backflips, and headshot the American.

Not every American is a creationist gun nut, that is a terrible stereotype.

All the picture is of is a woman with a gun a bible and an American flag. What's telling you that she's creationist?

"Aside from that, the most radical and backward form of Islam and sharia law is found in the country the USA supports the most. The country that is best friends with Israel: Saudi Arabia. Unrechtsstaaten get along with each other quite fine."

I agree that recently there are some good conversations with the Saudis, especially regarding on the Iranian issue, but we have no commercial ties and embassy, let's just say that I still can not visit in Saudi Arabia, maybe in the future.

Nobody here even knows what Islamic law is. Stop talking about things you don't understand.
People who want even a basic understanding of the subject have to study at university level for years.
You don't just go to Iraq, Chechnya, Afghanistan or Bosnia to blow up a few "infidels". Islamic law covers a whole range of subjects and includes absolutely everything from how to bring up children to how to distribute inheritance.

Whats the difference? The Quran was written to satisfy a man's base desires and only man. The Bible teaches men and women to live a righteous and God-centered life and also teaches men and women to treat each other with respect.

I believe religion should be an influence on lawmaking, in the fact that it's a huge part of society, whilst religion shouldn't be the law or be the only influence. Scientific data, studies and historical examples, attempts should be influencing legislation as well, to say a few.

I think it's a little dumb to not consider the differences between Islam and Christianity. Islam is very demanding and precise, while Christianity is lax and vague. Both are channels of faith and divine connection, but it's important to know what direction you want your life headed.

Also, Islam encompasses vast and diverse parts of the world, while honestly, Christianity is mostly whites and generally western-hemisphere people.

Bottom line, not seeing even simple differences between Islam and Christianity is like not differentiating between blue and gray. On that note, do colors share purpose? Yes, they give us heightened perspective. What does religion offer? Cultural unity, basis of morals, divine inspiration and valuable new informationto add to your perspective which you may then share with the rest of your preferred consensus.

Christianity lax and vague.... :(

Are you mixing up nowadays Protestantism with Christianity? If yes then your post makes quite some sense.

Wait a second did I just read something that actually made sense from Colonel. And something that was mostly true? No you don't have to study at a university for years to understand a religion. You can talk to your local spiritual leaders to understand that.

Well Norman, it's lax compared to Islam, and protestantism is an added effect. Roman catholicism is forcing things all the time though. I speak for myself when i say i don't go to church, never even been baptized. Way back when, i had to go to church once or twice and take communion (now THAT didn't taste like rat killer! )

Islam and Christianity are still the two biggest religions in China.
Only 2.1% of people in China are Christians.
