Is there a way to make the AI take over for you?

I know that if it does when you surrender etc you still get the win.

I'm thinking in situations where you've clearly won, but your opponent wants to play on, you should be able to set the AI to take over your turns. That way both players can get what they want. The winner can stop playing, and the loser can "try and win." Which personally, I enjoy doing as I feel it helps improve my strategy, but I don't like to annoy the opponent by dragging out the game... I think this option would solve both problems :)

TL;DR: Please can we allow the AI to take over for us (at any time we want, and let us take back control if we need to) that would be great!

The french WW2 argument really doesn't apply here. France is traditionally mocked for surrendering too soon. Clearly that's not what happened in this game.^^

Yes, but who cares? What those stats mean to you? Of course its frustrating to surrender but in single cases hardly one should care. I am fine, as long as my win ratio is above average, so I can play in and make myself games where sometimes high win ration is prerecusite to find new good players. But win ration in essence is not defining factor ones skill and therefore I do not care yours, mine or anyone else. It offers only slight information about ones previous performance.

Do you feel bad that you had to surrender to a person who probably has poor self-image and tries to replace it with virtual statistics of win ratio (although rigged) to gain recognition (not from community put merely goal oriented activity and therefore stats offer him satisfaction)? Warlight turned a page down since statistics were implemented. Too many people hold it in high regard - although most stuffed-stat players seriously lack such skills in real game-play. But again who cares? Why make it such a big deal. If this guy gets a good sleep at night just because he has "padded stats", then WarLight is helping to better his hypothetical self-image :) And that is a good thing, isn´t it? Offers recoqnition and socialisation through response of his WarLight profile.

Something must be seriously wrong with player who playes 4000 games just to get padded stats? But again, should we care? What harm is there? If there is a leaderboard then are you worried he has too high place there although he does not deserve it? Every game with rating, rank which is not under strick rules and score-validation has element of false data. Why even bother, when everyone is free to rigg it?

There are plenty of players who play with alts in various FFA or Team-Games just to make one account win. Why? Because most people pshychologically do not care how did won, satisfaction comes from just winning! And statistics only steepen the problem, because it adds another level of recoqnition, and again human brain do not care how, but that those ratings just are there.

For conclusion? If you hold stats, that particual surrender in high regard? Than think over you value system. One should not feel pathetic or whatever to surrender if your enemy is not worth a game. If your opponent is worthless why play against him and offer him this satisfaction? Do not waste your time and energy on people, who do not deserve it? Same applies to our enormous ranks of forum trolls? Every post or thread pointing to them only offers them virtual socialication they lack either in real life or what-ever reasons they are here. And you getting mad or angry, put it how you like, only shows how seriously you took or felt offended that he riggs games to hype his stats? Why? Again a fault of human brain and personality to not understand cause and effect in real terms. Image (in this case profile) is far more valuable to people that than the real game or a fight a person can put up. So! Come to light, take the red pill or blow what-ever mojo you want, BUT play the game for the game-play not for the sake of your profile nor troll-amusement.

*Still waiting Fizzer to censorship the forum and add Kindergarden, pre-school and adult Server in the game :) Or if this feels discriminative then maybe: Room for people with personality, emotional etc. disorders, Troll-Hord and for the last Granpda Section.

The issue is not that his stats are too high. The reason Bob's on my blacklist now is that he's creating these games deliberately in an attempt to win by boot.

It's great that he sleeps better at night thanks to his Warlight stats. However, most of us don't want to play with him if he uses these tactics and just wastes others' time to get his stats high.

The AI isn't smart enough to create a win for you, but if you're already in the winning position it can finish the game for you, even with a troll trying to draw the game out. Problem solved, no?

It could easily go the wrong way. I'm losing so I just let AI play for me until it gets eliminated while I jump into another game.
