I am not personally interested in learning computing programming out this time, due to me knowing many people who have gone into programming, despite making plenty of money, all of them are depressed/ have bad/unhealthy personal lives.

Then maybe you'd be interested in learning statistics and about proper sampling. :)

actually, i was at one point researching that... but i get bored.

things bore me pretty easily.

the only things that never bore me are GOT, Politics, sex, psychology, and depressed emo chicks. (the last one probably being the most surprising)

Then maybe you'd be interested in learning statistics and about proper sampling, then eventually falsify your data if you don't properly sample, and lead into a depression, that later will kill yourself because you have never gotten a proper sample. :)

As I hear, proper sampling is hard to come by for a result on a relevant population.

If you're an extrovert, programming is not ideal for you. I like doing computer programming work because I love being able to work alone. Sometimes it's not my favorite and I wind up on projects that I don't like, but the same is going to happen on any job.

Psychology and politics never bore me either, but I don't want a career in either of them. That said, there are a few specific psychology things I'm curious about that aren't likely to get funded (no practical reason to fund them, aside from curiosity), and it would be fun to spend a year doing those kinds of "satisfy my curiosity" studies.

I am highly introverted (I rarely talk to people at all in real life) but I'm looking into becoming a psychologist. My Mom actually has a BA degree in Psychology.
