As already stated, all new players will start in the bottom group and will have to work their way up the ranks through promotions over future seasons.

The best, there will be 10 players per group, so for example, next season we'll have Groups A, B, C, and D each with 10 players--made up of current players. Any additional players will be in Group E, however, if more than 10 players want to join, there will be Group E1 and Group E2, etc.

Only the top 2 players in each 'E' group (4 players total) will promote to Group D. The next 6 top from the 'E' groups, plus the bottom 4 from Group D will make up the next Group E. Bottom players in 'E' groups will be put in the next season's bottom group--Group F. And so on...

Does that make sense to anyone except me? Hope so.

I will be away for 3 weeks from September 20 to October 9, so season 2 will start immediately after I come back. I'll try to get a summary of the promotions/relegations out before I leave, but a lot depends on the results from Q1, so I can't put that out yet. Hopefully by the end of this week I'll be able to determine placings there, but there is still a good chance that a tie-breaking tournament will be needed to separate the top players in Q1.
