It wasn't a "hacker." It was Achilles, an IRL friend of Kazuki that Kazuki had probably given his PW to.

This was back when the GC was me, Tjoex, Hazard, Hermit, Panda, and Achilles.

Tjoex, Hazard, Hermit, and I basically ran the clan. Panda was inactive and a terrible leader anyway. Achilles was only there (like Andres and probably Panda) because Kazuki already knew him. Achilles and Kazuki were IRL friends.

So one day, Achilles freaks out about something minor (apparently Kazuki had agreed not to use his name without his permission, but broke that promise by discussing something about him in the clan chat) and takes over the clan. I didn't want anything to happened, so I lied to Achilles to get MR back, then took them away from myself and left them with just Kazuki as a gesture of good faith (it's always been my policy that Kazuki shouldn't trust anyone and minimize the spread of MR- you always want MR in the fewest hands it takes to run the clan effectively).

Next thing I know, turns out Achilles "somehow knew" Kazuki's password and just logged in as Kazuki.

Kazuki makes a "deal" with Achilles to get the clan back- which includes letting Achilles regain his Manager Rights after what he'd done. Kazuki refused to renege on this horrible idea later b/c apparently reneging on a promise is never acceptable, even when you made the promise to a budding psychopath who was holding your clan as ransom.

I later ended up quietly taking away Achilles' MR myself- even though he was inactive, it was too much of a risk.

I repeat: ideally, you want MR in the fewest hands possible that it takes to run the clan effectively. For CORP, however, this is impossible as long as Andres, Kazuki, and their ilk have MR.

Arguing like this over a previously stolen clan will only prove how childish you all are. This is just a game. If Corp really cared about the passed problems then they wouldn't have given so many people manager rights. It's nobody's fault but that of the clans.

I am very confused. How do you hack a clan.....

Hijack not hack someone got manager rights and changed a few things, normally they boot everyone to.

To think, some people aren't proud to be Nazis....what kinda world do we live in...

First: I think that at minimum the leader of a clan should not be able to be removed by someone with manager rights. Idea: have levels of manager rights, certain persons placed have the ability to remove those below and equal to them, but not above.

Second: The person responsible for this either A.Hacked a manager right's account, B.Has an account with manager rights in the clan, or C.Actually hacked warlight to do this.
Option B seems the most likely, but I believe only Corp members would know who has manager rights.

Third: The larger the group of people, the less likely that they are trustworthy. That is why limiting manager rights to a small group of persons works best.

Fourth: Motive seems to be someone complaining about something happening in their clan chat, this is more evidence pointing towards a current corp member, possibly one with manager rights taking over the clan.

Last: In the meantime, more clans other than TLW should start accepting temporary members of CORP as refugees to reduce the impact that this is causing on the overall community.

I'm fine with accepting them, but I betcha most will be back by the end of the day.

Yeah, I'm expecting that most will return once the issue is solved, a temporary clan to stop at is a temporary clan. Its a refugee crisis, and all clans are neighbors, but TLW is the only one with open borders. Like most refugee crises, most of the refugees will return to their homeland, few will stay.
