1v1
Almost all 1v1 games are now finished. CORP is winning 1v1 but it is close with no clan dominating. Lu Fredd has finished all games so M'Hunters and Illuminati have the potential to rank higher in the end. General Chou's record has bounced back a lot. A decent showing in 1v1, not their strongest area, with team games where they are strongest means they will have an all-around good showing. Hawks have an odd 1v1 record with their records being (0-6) or (5-1). So they did quite well in two tournaments and bombed in the rest. Just its an odd result.

2v2
Lu Fredd continues their strong showing all around, ranked top right now. It is a good showing only Illuminati has the potential to have the best 2v2 record as they have more then twice as many games left to finish. I point to Illuminati's 2v2 ME team for being so slow, WhoHitMyCar was on vacation for weeks and Sabali is sloooooow as those in Greece probably know. M'Hunters is again demonstrating their breadth of skills with a good showing in 2v2. We see General Chou's start to come alive in the team games. CORP has a significantly weaker showing here. There is potential to turn it around still but its a rough start so far.

3v3
Illuminati leads in 3v3 so far with M'Hunters and Lu Fredd also doing well (hmmm, a re-occurring trend...). While General Chou's and CORP are farther back, each have only played a few games. So they are the clans to watch.

Overall:
It seems this division's promotion spot will be won on the team games. No clan was able to dominate the 1v1 games so the edge will be given to the clan that can win in the team games. Lu Fredd, Illuminati and M'Hunters are best positioned right now as their records are solid across the three areas. CORP is being dragged down by their poorer team games but they still have a lot of unfinished games, they could stage an epic comeback.

We are entering the final stretch. Among Illuminati, M'Hunters and Lu Fredd losses to one of these clans hurt the most, putting one that much further behind the other. A loss always hurts but among the clans leading, it hurts most.

Who will win it all this season? The picture is beginning to become clearer.

I really hope CORP and Illuminati end up in the same division next league, so I can still read these awesome reports!

The Lu Fredd are first in this division but not decided anything yet. Although I think that the Illuminati are still the favorites, this is my opinion.

The pack of Lu Fredd, ILLUMINATI, M'Hunters and CORP has broken up slightly. ILLUMINATI's win rate has drifted up slightly, CORP drifted down slightly, with M'Hunters and Lu Fredd remaining more or less steady.

The race between CORP and General Chou's will be interesting to see who will (likely, no guarantees) get the coveted 4th place in this division to move on to Division D next season and who gets relegated to Divison E.

ILLUMINATI and M'Hunters are now deadlocked in points and are not far behind Lu Fredd.

At the bottom of the division Dutch Forever and Hawks are in a tight race to see who doesn't finish last.

Week 6 Summary:

We are 6 weeks into this season of Clan League for Division D1 and 78% of games are now complete. With only 4 games left, 1v1 is nearly complete and I hope to put a spotlight on the tournament winners and the final two tournaments, Greece and ME 0% SR, once they finish up.

As has already been said 2v2, 26 games and 104 points, and 3v3, 20 games and 100 points, is where the largest pool of points remain and it looks like this sole promotion spot will be won or lost.

Yet another stellar week for ILLUMINATI▲. I have been saying that for about three weeks now as they have moved from a tight race back in 3rd to a tight race for 2nd as M'Hunters and ILLUMINATI▲ narrow the gap slightly with Lu Fredd. ILLUMINATI▲ (6-0) had a large gain of 24 points, almost double Lu Fredd's or M'Hunter's point gains, 13 points. ILLUMINATI▲ now has the strongest win rate and highest max points, a strong base to claim the promotion spot.

However, Lu Fredd (4-1) has shown themselves to be formidable in team games. They have the fewest remaining games and therefore the lowest growth but I think most people will agree they are strong on 2v2 and 3v3 templates. With the second highest win rate in the division, Lu Fredd has the strength to hold onto their position atop the division.

M'Hunters (3-3) have the breadth of talent and strength across the various game types to get out of this division. While M'Hunters hasn't be as strong lately, with their win rate dipping slightly to 62.75%, there is still potential here to win it all.

General Chou's (3-1) and CORP's (2-3) win rate's are only separated by 6%. I wish I had tracked win rates this season as it would be interesting to see which clans are getting stronger or fading. General Chous has been getting stronger as the division has progressed, steadily gaining points to where they have overtaken CORP but it is the win rate that remains in ever in CORP's favour. If the trends continue, General Chou's could take 4th in this division. Only time is running out and it may be too little too late if they cannot get their win rate to at least 56-58% by the end.

The team games haven't been kind to Dutch Forever (0-6) so far, especially this week. With Hawks (1-3) showing a slightly more balanced line-up across 1v1, 2v2 and 3v3 then Dutch Forever, the clan that finishes bottom of the division is still up in the air. Both clans are destined to end up in Division E next season. Which clan will save face by not finishing bottom of group?

Unlike D2 where the final picture is coming into place, D1 is still in flux with three clans fighting it out for one promotion spot with all deserving of promotion.

Lastly I want to talk about CORP. It has been an interesting race for them so far. There was some trashing of CORP at the beginning of the tournament with predictions placing them 5th or lower. They have been strong on 1v1 but seem to be lacking the strength across their line-up. Based on the results so far I can say CORP is a good strategic clan that seems to lack experience in team games and people scoffing at CORP as a role-playing clan is false. CORP deserves to be here and has shown skills that should be lauded. I hope whether CORP finishes in 3rd, 4th or 5th that it shouldn't be shown as CORP is unprepared for primetime but that CORP is in a tough, tough division where winning +50% of games can only get you 5th.

Aren't HAWKS also in the running? Galahad ended with a 5-1 with their only loss to Sabali, so if Sabali beats BigMeck, then it's a clear ILLUMINATI win with Galahad 2nd and BigMeck 3rd (Galahad beat BigMeck). But if BigMeck beats Sabali, then there are 3 5-1 players- Galahad (beat BigMeck, lost to Sabali), Sabali (beat Galahad, loses to BigMeck in this scenario), and BigMeck (beats Sabali in this scenario, lost to Galahad)- with 1-1 tiebreaker records- so it's a 3-way tie between ILLUMINATI, CORP, and HAWKS.

Unless I'm reading the tournament wrong, which is a very real possibility.
