@Tiny Koala: Funny you should say that, because while that was pretty solid and true awhile back, it's not so true anymore as we see more Americans become top players.

Simple:
1. The US is a developed country (=Internet access)
2. The site is in English, so even kids have access to it (Tyrion for example)
3. The population of the US and Canada is around 350 Mil. with is about the half of Europe (~700 Mil.)

Yeah. Not long ago, most of the talent was in Europe. Many of those players have retired and a few US players have really stepped up their game. Nations cup used to be rough on USA, but I bet it would be nice and competitive now (wasn't someone going to try doing that again?)

there are 2 dutch players in the top 3 of the 1v1 ladder at this moment though :P

So, How do people find Warlight?

Well, As suggested above since the game was created in America by Fizzer it could be spreaded through word of mouth! 7.46% of us (Arguably) has founded Warlight by word of mouth and if you wish to count it site links to warlight from 78 In fact! Well Over half of us (67.39%) founded Warlight by simply typing in "Risk Online" or "Play Risk Online" or any phrase with the word "Risk"!

Who visits Warlight?

Worrying figures? Males are greatly-over represented on the site (98%?) and Females are greatly under-represented (2%) So unless your a desperate looking for a date on Warlight your success rate in just finding a female taking your a male of course is only 2%..

Almost every player in Warlight has had some form of education mostly "Graduate School" and "Some College" very few has went to "College"

American is a nationality. You can't be racist against nationality. The correct term may be prejudice.

So, How do people find Warlight?

I found WL on Kongregate back in 2013. Kong is American. If I remember, Fizzer sold WL to a distributer. People, like me, found WL by chance.

There is NO WAY that 5.2% of the people playing on WL are Japanese. In my entire time playing, I've seen ONE Japanese person. No more. I've seen plenty Germans, French, and Spanish that I'm positive have more people playing than Japan.

I was invited by a friend from some Star Wars forum, he also invited plenty more and we all played many fun games together, but only I really stayed around on WL.
At the time WL was featured on some polish humour site, which is why there were so many polish players initially.

These numbers are all estimations and since Japan is a very low percentage (5.2%) I'm sure it is closely followed by the European countries (Spain,France,England,Netherlands) etc.

Alexa's not that accurate in general.
