I also agree with eagle, government almost never reflects the majority of the population, strangely enough! For example, in Ireland we have political dynasties basically. Fathers retire and their sons take over and get elected in their place. they are generally professionals, very wealthy and have strong ties to business. I think that's often the profile of politicians around the world but I just don't see how people can relate with them and vote them in to represent them!
btw it's not the professional thing, more the business thing that gets to me.

Also eagle I resent the statement "Ireland No one cares fight england and get it over with" With nearly half the american population claiming irish roots even your resident i think you should care (america)
