haha that statement is woefully contradictory. To me, an achievement is an achievement. Please elaborate.

Its ironic. Achievement has 2 meanings. You're 18 arent you? I am wasting my time here aren't I?

I am aware what achievement means. You are wasting your time, because you are in the wrong. At least come up with an argument instead of acting like you are better than me. Your whole persona here is mildly sickening.

L he is saying that getting a warlight achievement is not an achievement which deserves merit or to tell the forums about it. Also who cares if people beat Level 3 in 1 less turn than is needed for a gold star? To be honest be happy you got a gold star, you should be content with shiny things...

Indeed. You have both missed my point. I was suggesting a new achievement, not bragging about getting a fast win against some AIs. Do not make me out to be someone so pathetic.

why would anyone want an achievement for getting a fast win against some AIs?

^ this is the point that you haven't talked about and is why we think you are a glory-whore.

That is not the achievement I was describing. I was proposing an achievement for going above and beyond the call of duty. Read the title of the thread...

There are a number of ways it can be achieved. Winning single player games quickly would be an example of one.

Achievement: (n)
1. The act of accomplishing or finishing.
2. Something accomplished successfully, especially by means of exertion, skill, practice, or perseverance

Getting a trophy on WarLight is the representation of achievement. Dead piggy, master of humility, teach us to hide our stats like you so we can show how much we don't care, like you.

If youre comparing yourself to other people that's a bad start, but it can be constructive.

Comparison is the act of drawing similarities and differences between something. From this you can draw conclusions for improvement. Comparing yourself to others is not misguided, but a tool of measurement, constructive if you don't overuse it or depend completely on it. I don't.

If youre taking into account their age then youre waaaay off base.

And what makes you say that? From a person's age you can draw experience, biological and mental maturity. THIS ISN'T always the case, but as a generalization holds true, even in our modern progressive age, because our biology hasn't changed all that much. Our brains don't fully mature until we are around 25 years of age. You're welcome to look this up. That means someone who is 15 is less mentally mature than a 20 year old, on average. Differences are found in genetics, consumption of nutrients and drugs which can improve or inhibit development, etc. Age is perhaps not the best method of comparison, but a consistently decent one. Considering this is a game that requires concentration of the mind, a biologically mature mind has an advantage over one that is less matured. If someone who is 15 and has the experience of an average 15 year old consistently beats someone several years older than him, then that is impressive. Also, my humility is found in playing against players who consistently beat me, sorry that that wasn't clear to you.

L definitely was asking me to openly worship him. HE ASKED FOR A MEDAL.

He said recognition would be nice, for all players who manage to do this, not just himself. Asking to be worshiped looks a bit different. Those who want to be worshiped, don't usually like to share that worship. You're welcome to look that up as well.

There is nothing wrong with playing single player games. If you do it just for a star on your profile then there is something wrong with you.

Maybe you misunderstand something, or are simply ignorant to it. Players who don't know you will judge your skill based on your profile. A gold star helps give a good impression. That aside, I do it for personal satisfaction and knowing my skill has improved enough that I managed to complete the achievement and because I enjoy breaking challenges.

I dont bash gui and pulsey because theyre good and i like playing with them. They just play to make good moves.

Are you quoting them or assuming this? Playing to make good moves is a good enough reason for you? I play because I enjoy it, is that acceptable enough to you, dead piggy? If you play a game (any game), do you go for hidden achievements or side missions? Are we less acceptable if we do?

Ska, is there a reason you've been acting like an ass towards me the last week or so? Can you say some nice or at the very least, something constructive?

gosh. perhaps you read too much dodgy anime, because your writing style is painfully turgid.

Allow me to give some constructive criticism to your last post alone. No no, don't thank me.

"Indeed, it is" is never preferable to "yes" or even a down-home "yep", a slack "yeah" or a laconic "yh". Or for Piggy's sake, a West country "Yarp". Replying to a simple question on a messageboard with "Indeed, it is" makes you sound like a Punch parody of a quaint Victorian lady.

Additionally, with a ten-word comment, there is truly no need for brackets. Either the word is necessary enough to warrant an 11% increase to your word count, and therefore does not require brackets, or it isn't necessary enough, and it shouldn't be in there at all.

Listen sport, I'm only saying this because you're a potentially good writer (and because you're making about 20 posts an hour). But it's like you're playing touch football, and trying to throw a 100-yard pass in every play. It's just too much.

Basically, you write like the Anti-x Capybara (look him up).

I like everything neat and in its assigned place. I do not approve of the use of such phrases as 'yh'. Besides, I cannot chuckle at people and their atrocious spelling/grammar if my own is sub-par. Lord knows, everyone hates a hypocrite.
I may be able to pull it down a notch to a simple 'yes', but don't hold your breath. Thank you for your criticism. I have taken it into account.

Edit: The fact that you misspelled 'what' shows that you are a failed Victorian lady, if anything.

There's no dash in "subpar".

Apologies to that preposterous rodent, he at least didn't overuse such tired and hideous phrases as:

in stitches
Lord knows
don't hold your breath
taken it into account
The fact that

But I should be glad that you went three whole posts without using the word "extol". The reason I thought this might not be your native language is because nobody talks like how you write. My second guess, then, being that your reading material is inferior. Go read some literature kiddo. I guarantee that your portentous style is 99% of the reason you were being oinked at.

Yeah I originally wanted to be an English teacher, but was warned that my students would conspire to murder me. Yes, I know that is a hyphen, not a dash. That was a test.

Yeah. The reason is you're being an ass.

You and master l wander around the forums being mightier than thou if you think someones a noob. And congratulating yourselves on your use of grammar.

Beating the a.i is nothing to brag about, if an illuminati member had made this thread you'd likely bang on about that. I mean you come here saying I play for fun. But your quite happy to slate clans because they have no pre-reqs. Well maybe they play for fun too? Or is that defense limited to you?

X, do our society a favor and give it up. I personally extol* his speech patterns, and lament because more people do not talk like him. Clearly, the reason everyone despises him is because of the content of his posts. For heaven's sake, he called my "Icelandic Turtles" clan a "little flick"! How obnoxious. Good day to you, sir.
