For example, Erwin Rommel (player ) tried last year to make a map of Operation Barbarossa(more exactly the entire Eastern Front in ww1 So I that manner i want t map like I said For the Western Front, a big map of Benelux,Northen France, West Germany and a bit of England(as an Idea)
Non-fantasy maps can include extra-terrestrial places, too. Asteroid Belt, our Solar System, Jupiter and moons, other planets, surface of the Sun, Milky Way, etc.
I personally don't really like maps about space, because the territories are all circles and there are lines everywhere for all the connections and I have got used to land-based maps with unique shapes of territories that border each-other. I'm not into Narnia or Discworld stuff so I'll leave that to people who know more about them.
I have come up with a good idea of my own though, which is a bit similar to what chuck norris suggested, but it will be all the oceanic borders of countries. Possible mixed in with the land borders as well. I haven't found many resources to show these borders accuratly or with labels, however google earth might have a feature which shows them. If anyone has an image which shows them that would be very helpful.
I have a couple of maps in the making, one is a cabbage divided by the veins in it, the other is an entirely fictional map.
