if u had all the workers run the company u wouldnt do dramatic shifts to the company

ud keep everything the same

ud make sure everyone's jobs were in tact.

ur not gonna do massive corporate restructurings nor are u gonna do massive layoffs

ur not gonna take excess risk if u have employees running the show

innovation is all about taking risks. a employee based corp will have incentives to not take risk.

cus it'll risk LOSING THEIR JOBS. u have many community banks that arent willing to transition to the 21st century and invest their profits to innovate and grow and adapt. this is just a example of the unwilingness to adapt and innovate to the times

now multiply that 50x with employee owned corps. u pretty much have a UNION running the whole company

good luck with thatlol. the incentive of a union is to keep their jobs and keep the salaries being paid. which reduces risk taking behavior if the incentive is to keep everyone's jobs

this kills innovation
