Situation: You are on the verges of defeat and want to stay alive in the game. You have a strong ally next to you that will help, but the enemy has 2 enemies next to him that he can summon to crush both of you. You have strong reservations that is safe from the enemy, but will you use them?

The enemy gave you a treaty saying that he will spare you in the exchange for a large portion of land.

Situations: what woukd you do?

A : summon your ally
B : stack the reserves together and ram the offensive line.
C : Accept the treaty you have been offered
D : Use a spy card and see weak spots for your reserves to tunnel at.

I have yet to decide (not really my decision) whether diplomacy game discussion belongs in the strategy or the general forum.

Anyways, I would do C, and never attack him again. Or if the EBlockade cards are > 300%, then try to make his stack run into you, and keep going and summon your ally.

I Would Do B,I Will Do My Last Stand Against Him.
But If that Completly Fails,I Would Do A.

I would do E: try and negotiate my way out of everything, and if that failed, I would move on to F: accuse him of being a no-good warmonger and hope that other nations would rally against him. If that failed as well, then I'd just be like "screw this game, I'm dead now" and give all my lands to my ally.

If you really want me to choose from the options above, I'd pick B. No sense in getting my ally involved in a fight I know we'll lose, and I want to make my opponent fight for my land rather than having it freely given to him.

C) It's a diplomacy game, its supposed to be realistic. Sue for peace is always the viable option.

G) I'm never in a bad situation in a diplo, ever. Period. That's why a couple people call me the "Ultimate Bullshit". :p

On a serious note, just ram your stack and group up as many people as you can on your enemy. If something is going badly, escalate it up, increase the bet.

Go with B. Then role play about your leader dying and becoming a group of people with no leader, then stall on getting eliminated.

H) my prefered choice. i just say "screw you all, @ <enemy> SCREW YOU, @ <ally> good luck standing against the enemy (and me)". then i attack my ally to become PE and i then i don't need to play the diplomacy game. (as you can probably guess, i have only played one diplomacy game and i will never play one again) lol

I attempt to tunnel and spread into his land and break down his bonuses before he does damage to my own, force a more beneficial treaty, maybe lie in chat about one of his own allies turning against him, make him think that I have more than that one powerful ally.
