ps, he spammed the forums, one time. Stop acting as if he murdered your best friend or raped a relative. You're acting as if some minor, temporary disruption to Warlight has horribly damaged your life and you're entitled to some kind of personal retribution. Stop with the petty grudge and just get over it. He was already punished, he already apologized, what more do you want?
Shredtail2 made a mistake, and received his punishment, stop acting like you're high and mighty for tying him up to the public whipping post.

what precisely is ps wrong about? Shredtail did like a child, since he is a child. This was more than just one minute of impulse - this was ~one hour of trolling.

what punishment? getting banned during the time he was spamming?! the horror of losing his alts?
i'm stepping up because this is just proof that people get away with the most toxic behaviors in this place. no wonder it attracts spammers and trolls, there is no detraction _EVEN WHEN THEY GET CAUGHT_. they just write a couple paragraphs and we're back in business as if nothing ever happened.
no, this is not ok. and whoever thinks it is, is either delusional or clearly not giving a damn about the forum.
if fizzer and the mods don't care about the forum it's their problem, but i for one will not put my head under the sand and pretend shredtail2 didn't spam. whenever i see his nick on the boards i will remember he spammed the forum and got away with it, living proof to other trolls that they can come here, ruin everybody's fun and get away with it with a couple paragraphs copy-pasted from a cheap teen novel.

Sometimes a lesson has to be learned the hard way. I think ps is doing something a lot of others appreciate, which is standing up for the community standards most regular players value and hope would come back to the forums.
One lesson here is this: It's not all about *you* (Shred in this case); there are dozens/hundreds of other people your actions on the forum will affect. If you mess with people, don't be surprised if they get pissed at you. Don't be surprised if they don't think your apologies are sincere. Don't be surprised if they're not willing to let you 'get away with it'. There may be consequences you didn't expect, they may be harsher than you think you deserve. But it's human nature. Humans are a social species. Social consequences for anti-social behaviour are a natural result of our evolutionary origins (see the previous links on evolution of cooperation).
If you don't like that, then stop behaving anti-socially, stop whining 'leave me alone' like you're the victim, take responsibility, be humble instead of arrogant, make an honest effort to make amends, and (like 'tit for tat') people will be *much* more likely to forgive your mistakes and move on from it.

"I'll test warlight mods by spamming the forums" Is like someone who would bring a bomb into the airport to test security Extreme comparison, yes, but still a comparison nevertheless
