Miyagi: when Gui changed the map it screwed with the template that was being used on the CLOT, i ended up closing that CLOT since it was taking maintenance time i couldn't afford at the time, the sourcecode is online if anyone wants to set it up again. I would need to do some changes to the codebase to make it more live on it's own before putting it back online, as it is it takes some manual maintenance which i don't have time/patience to handle atm. The template that was last used on that CLOT was id 305181, don't remember if it had been re-customized to make sense out of Gui's latest map alterations or not, might be crap as it is.

I like randomized bonus style. As far as other templates, you should use the WSOW as a guide.

Also, I think it should rotate every month to a new template. There are always new interesting maps/formats and if you only do it every 3-4 months you will never get to all of them.

when i say 3/4 month, i was speaking about expiring game ;)

Looks like no one, besides me, like 2 days boot. 3 days then.

Vacations - no reason to disable it, but there is one big "BUT". I can't check if player is on vacation, so i can't prevent CLOT from giving new games. So, player have to leave ladder and rejoin it later. The same situation apply to warlight ladders, but the difference is, that you can't enable vacation if you are still in any standard ladder. And CLOT ofc. can't work like that. So it's up for player to leave ladder - if he fail to do it, he will eventually get new game. And then, after join deadline passes, he will be considered booted.

and about games for month, i think best idea is, let to anyone to pick how many games want play. maybe in a range from 3 to 10....

Not possible at this moment, don't want to mess and screw something in scheduling mechanism at the very beginning.

i think all player that play season with randomize bonus, would like to play it again, great idea. For start, maybe is better pick "classic template", so a lot of player join. Then, after 1/2 month, you can start with unclassic tempalte. (people will still to play anyway likely).

Well, i was thinking we can shortened 1st season a bit and end it 30th november(to synchronize with calendar months) anyway.

No middle earth. The whole reason for another ladder is to get away from the classic middle earth. If its middle earth i will likely leave. But thats just me

Since boot is set to 3 day I would definitely like to join.

I agree with miyagi. Why bother with 1v1 strat, the point is to do lots of formats.

Also to gnuff there is no way to set game max (you can probably do anything with enough programming, i guess). It just matches up people not in games currently

Dude. It ain't rocket science: You did the map change, Fizzer approved the map change, none of you realized it would screw with the template, it did, shit happens, we moved on, i ended up closing the CLOT. What's the drama?
