imo the map maker just wanted to retain accuracy to its fullest extent

Random question:

On this template, the sum of your bonuses and your base armies per turn can be negative. For example, you can be at -2 armies per turn on turn 1. But since it's not possible to have a negative income, the game changes it to 0 armies per turn.

Now in case of a force-finish, the winner is usually determined according to the (armies controlled + 2*income) formula.
If a player is supposed have a negative income, let's say -2, what number will the formula use for the income? -2 or 0?

I think only fizzer can answer that question, but my random guess is 0.

IMO it's just like a regular brawl template, except that bonuses are confusing and noob-unfriendly.

The force-finish algorithm uses your actual income -- i.e, how many armies you would actually deploy. So it will be 0, not -2.
