The main issue with multiculturalism and "live and let live" is that an intolerant and determined group can completely change the society through others' tolerance of them. Hence we have to be absolutely intolerant of certain ideologies.
For example in a hypothetical Felinist State (FS) affirmative actions and many ethnic cultural groups are banned since they are collectivist in nature. There is simply zero statistics on race and ancestry in the FS like France. However we might force everyone to drop their surnames and de-ethnicize their non-religious names. Religious names need to be de-ethnicized such as all Christian names going back to Hebrew, Aramaic, Greek etc, all Muslim names going back to Arabic and all Hindu names going back to Sanskrit etc. Various forms of Yochanan/John and Muhammad will be reduced to one form.
Another example is almost absolute individual religious freedom and almost no collective religious power. There should be religious schools. However any individual has to voluntarily sign up in order to attend them. Families and tribes can not sign anything for you against your will or they will be guilty of collectivism which is criminalized. Similarly nobody can force you to be atheist or prevent you from being atheist either.
Anyone who wants to immigrate to FS needs to take tests, including IQ tests. We use an objective criteria to decide who can come. Don't complain about certain people largely not being able to get in. That's just statistics and our policies are fair. Everyone in FS chooses their own names as long as the names are legal.
