these seem to mean he takes the constitution at its literal meaning and ignores context, intent and anything else.

so if the constitution says "trump supporters are idiots" he can argue this means "objects used to physically support a 'trump' hand in bridge are people suffering from extreme mental retardation"

that does not seem like a good way to interpret the constitution. it seems like a license to argue for whatever you want the end result to be.
