Not for me... the blockiness of it bothers my eyes or something.
I take it the random black spots are supposed to be lakes or something similar?
Also, one recommendation is to make sure the bonus borders don't overlap. I can see from that map that Sarmatia overlaps Scythia so that only one color is visible at any given time. Easy enough tweak with inkscape though.
Sorry if that's the case. The original map was done just like that: blocky. Yes, the black spots are supposed to be lakes, and I can probably fix the borders easily.
Well lerizzle, you put the map version to testing on the Design Maps page and then simply create a game with it. I suggest using a multiplayer game because other people can catch design errors you might have missed.
Perrin3088 is right, lerizzle. You might also want to show oversea connections with a line so people don't get confused about which territories that one island connects to.
Bumped. Do you think I should make the map less block, as many people are complaining about the looks of it. Another thing I need to ask is if the eastern edges of the map (India and China) should be extended as to add more territories. What do you guys think?
Sorry. Still adding parts of India, China, and Russia. I want the map to be as historically accurate as possible, dating back to 272 BC, so it's going to take a while.
