Are you watching it? And if so, what do you think of it?

What I've noticed from seeing the series, is that El Chapo actually became a leader pretty fast. He is not afraid to make big risks, hence why he probably got so fast on the higher stage of drug dealing. The amount of times that he was on the verge of dying is surprisingly high. I'm amazed that he's still alive.

I still haven't finished watching the series, but I think I'll continue watching it. El Chapo is an exceptional player when it comes to drug dealing.

Why?

"Peafowlism" as you put it, has always existed. Civilization survived all this time despite the fact.

^^^You couldn't just commit adultery in Rome and got away with it either. Prostitution isn't evolutionarily very harmful compared to its alternatives.

You see? I don't care about homosexuality because it isn't inherently harmful if a small minority practices it. On the other hand, adultery and other forms of peafowlism (such as relegating smart and diligent people to lifelong incel) are evolutionarily harmful.

To understand peafowlism let's talk about this hypothetical scenario.

Adam and Ben are two young men. Adam is smart, hard-working and well-educated. However Ben is a dumb gangster who does not work. I don't really want Ben to be incel. However I do want to make sure that Adam, a middle class or working class provider, gets a wife for life if he wants to regardless of how unsexy he is.

As long as this happens we don't have peafowlism. The future of the world depends on Adams, not Bens hence we want to make sure that the class of Adams are replenished.

EDITED: Castle Bravo is right. Prostitution is an evolutionary problem. However it is a minor one compared to peafowlism or violent incel attacks.

I disagree, it gives resources to degenerate promiscuous women.

^Agreed. However it is a lesser problem than the problem of peafowlism and the problem of incels attacking the society.

Unless you can fix peafowlism which is what all successful cultures do and largely eradicate male involuntary celibacy you should not ban prostitution.

Furthermore I would rather have promiscuous women in polyamory or prostitution than adultery. Adultresses are much worse. I certainly don't want any of my fellow STEM brothers to marry a potential adultress. Let's ban adultery and require promiscuous women to declare their promiscuity to the state and be polygamous or become prostitutes.

At episode 8 - which I was just watching - it gets to El Chapo's imprisonment; a big nightmare that was, truly a nightmare. I was shocked at how the prisoners were treated there, including El Chapo. The only things they allowed in the prison were eating, sleeping and taking a shower. They forbid prisoners to cry, and if someone did cry, then he would be threatened to imprisonment in solitary confinement.

The series are exceptional, the reason why is that I have never seen any series like it before. The biography of El Chapo is quite unique, it's not like that of other drug dealers.

What do you folks think of El Chapo? Do you think he deserves life imprisonment or not?
