I respond to sophistry with sophistry. Otherwise it's not really fair. I cut people down when they need to ease off the ego juice. If you want to call out ad hominem there are a lot more examples in this thread than just that one.

PC went too far when people started getting arrested and investigated for internet memes and espousing certain political positions, such as anti-immigration. Meanwhile the police mysteriously fail to act when Muslim migrants rape women in public.
when did this meme-arrest happen and what does PC have in common with rape?
Ranek probably has me blocked with a script
Wulfhere, who told you that? conspiracy theory?

"The Communications Act 2003 defines illegal communication as “using public electronic communications network in order to cause annoyance, inconvenience or needless anxiety”. Breaking the law carries a six-month prison term or fine of up to £5,000.
625 arrests were made for alleged section 127 offences in 2010

Gonna need a lot of citations to prove this one lol. People are getting arrested for internet memes? People are getting jailed for having anti-immigration positions? If that was the case, surely Nigel Farage would be in jail? The police don't act on rape when it's a Muslim? That doesn't seem right in my head, feel free to source your claims.

^^interesting quote. this incident happened in berlin. an 62 years old woman posted several texts that included *incitement to hatred*, which is in Germany a criminal offense. she was therefor sentenced to pay a fine of 1350€. -> would you mind to show the connection with political correctness in that particular case?

She posted a picture with the caption: "Do you have anything against immigrants? Yes, Maschineguns and handgrenades." This has nothing to do with "politcal correctness", but is a threat against a group of people - Hence its a crime. And it should be a crime, because threats can turn into actual physical harm.
