It is still Role-play, Role-play comes in all different types, We cant dictate what role-play is and what it is not as such.
Also I am no longer going to keep posting on the forums, I have had enough of people on these forums... Some are very, very sad.

I've been begging for my clan mates to stay off the general forums aswell Arun, believe me. Some people are hard headed though...

Maybe i shouldn't post here as much of the talk (if not all of it) doesn't concern me. But just because someone is posting crap (and yes guys it is CRAP the things you are posting) is not a reason to ask for a ban or different forum (there is a word for that CENSORSHIP and we all know what that leads to General). Many of you that are complaining now used to post the same things in different package (i don't remember them but there was that boobs thing, the one with the master race bullshit and so on), so keep the freedom and just don't read what u don't want to read.

I don't understand all the belly aching about what is posted in the forum. I've been a casual forum user for years and any useful information has always been slim to none. Strategy is usually not discused. The forum has always been petty arguments for the most part. That's why I never understand when someone says the forums are being ruined. They've always been shit. The only thing that changes are some of the names. What important thread is getting buried? Why do some people try to dictate what others can post? Finding out about awesome things like the rotating template ladder is the only thing that brings me back to the forums from time to time. I accept that I'll have to scroll past dumbasses and forum snobs to find anything interesting. When you see a thread about a tournament or clan and it dosen't interest you either scroll past or make an ass out of yourself. The choice is yours but don't act like the forum used to be different or that your somehow helping.

Incaman - I can see your point, but you're mixing people up right now.. The guys form those threads are not here..

Blortis - The forums used to be better. A lot better. There have always been alts messing with people and silly threads, but most of them had that witty sense of humor and in most cases added value to it. I'm not saying there was no crap, because there was a lot of it, but at the same time forums in general were much less active, and much more valuable and/or amusing.

Fridge it doesn't matter what the examples were i can post any example current or not, the point is don't CENSOR information as this leads to much darker things (who gets to tell what can and can't be posted and by what criteria does he decide and does he take advice and from whom does he takes this advice and so on). To be honest the moment i see that on this site i'm gone like the wind :D. One more thing the forum was never better, maybe it was better for you because you knew the old guys but it was never better for a casual bystander as my self. The same uninteresting stuff, the same bad humor, the same juvenile expressions just different posters :), There are exceptions of course i was just generalizing.

I disagree. The notorious trolls of the golden age were all very witty except Qadaffi (Furious Lukaz?), Hellbender and Motocross. The other trolls were a great laugh, particularly some of the alts.

Honestly, I think Fridge is right, except that we criticized Arun until he got the point. Of course, it's up to people to make the decision - are these clans trolls, or just unknowingly being annoying? If it's the former, it's best to ignore them; the latter, you reprimand them and hope they do better.

While Arun's opening post isn't exactly the nicest (or direct) way to express a complaint, neither Lawlz (Who severely overreacted*) nor Brain (Trolling and/or feeding the troll) nor Hauptmann (Poison isn't supposed to be a direct attack) reacted in a very good way.

But aside from all this, the forums are pretty much a place for people to fool around, no point in a failed attempt to save face.

*Tip: If someone's using an analogy as an argument against you, don't act like that analogy says you act like.

Yeah, Kero makes a solid point. I've admittedly been provoked into overreacting by Lawlz and should cool off. Gonna take a chill pill and sleep the remainder of this drama through ^^
