i, and certainly seems a few others, want game count to remain the same and the creation of a group D. In fact, last Season by JSA was perfect.

Weren't there multiple brackets for each group last time? Why not have each bracket play a different template? For example, if there are multiple 1v1 tournaments, have each one on a different template. Then, let the clans decide who plays what. That could add a wrinkle of team strategy to it all.

Miyagi - you are not quite there.. There were not groups A B C D last season. It was A B C1 C2 with the two last being same tier.. which made sense only because there were so many new participants. This should be naturally changed into A B C D for the current season..

You shouldn't hate being frank Miyagi, I can tell you it's quite awesome.

Qi, thats the idea they are just throwing a tantrum, Fridge if i was to make a group D id have to send more groups down from B which would most likely be groups who were just from C, so if you want..

And the organization of the groups don't really make sense to me. Six in A, five in the rest and two clans still undetermined. What's so hard about making them all even? The only group that should be one short (if that proves to be necessary) is that last one.

Other than my generic complaint about template choices (two 3v3 Europe? Are there so few decent 3v3 templates?), the rest seem fine.

Too much information. Take ages to discuss. Let's make a Fifth Clan League ALPHA : Each clan send only one best guy to play in a 1v1 Round Robin tournament. :p just for fun. Which clan wanna join?

In any case I think maybe it's best to get a representative from each clan to vote - from all clans who played in season 4 who plan to play in season 5. Have them vote, first, on the format itself. There are good arguments for Miyagi's setup, it has much more variety and allows for larger clans to play more players who are interested, while smaller clans can simply play their players in more templates. But there are reasons to prefer the classic setup too. Maybe we can see what the clans decide?

There are other things that can also be voted on, like the templates, group sizes, etc. The discussion would be a lot easier if only clan reps are involved.

I thank Miyagi for bringing some good ideas to the table. Not all of them are well received by everyone. But I'm glad he's actually putting some effort into this thing. But yeah, the discussion is not organized very well, and a lot of players are getting frustrated as a result. So maybe the next major effort can be figuring out the best way to decide how Season V will go forward, so that everyone's input is considered, and the league admin is only moderately disliked. :P

Definite NO to all clans deciding on the league. There are to many clans which have to little understanding of Warlight mechanics to decide. Only former Group A plus top two B group clans should vote. Otherwise you prepare to be burned for making a joke out of this event.

101st and lynx will both provide teams, lynx will be the one that competes in group a while 101st will be treated as a new clan.

Wait, that's allowed? If 101st is allowed to do that, then other large clans like VIW should be able to have an "A" and "B" team as well. I can't speak for the rest of VIW right now but I would love to be able to submit a "top" team while giving other players a chance to play. Last season, even when playing 11 players, we still had to leave people out.

I disagree with that being allowed to be honest. Lynx is part of the 101st, as CS is part of REGL, and Prolighters is part of Warlighters. Unless the clan itself is split into 2 (which is obviously isn't) than a clan should not be allowed to submit multiple delegations into a single competition ( especially if team B gets into the same division as team A, in which case cheating is most definitely a possibility (not saying you would, but the opportunity should not be given).

Plz look carefully, we've actually split.
