I think trash talk is a big part of the fun but most people around here are a bit too sensitive so I usually don't. Funny you mention WWE style rivalries though. One of my friends told me he wanted to make a clan to show support for this great game. The idea we came up with is to base it off pro wrestling. Meaningless belts to obtain, rivalries, trash talk and somewhat of a flexable structure to determine matchups. It will be closed at first until we figure things out but I would eventually like to have a roster of about 30 players of varied skill levels. Main eventers, mid card and jobbers. If anyone is interested let me know when the page is up.

I don`t really care much about warlight anymore, I stopped caring a very long while ago.
I stopped playing concentrated, I stopped playing ambitious, I stopped trying to play flawless.
The last time I took warlight serious was that very long while back with ps ladder of ancient greece. A ladder on a competletely new map, in a completely new setting, that nobody played before and could use an experience bonus on. I wanted to win it and it i took it very serious, so far that i even got angry on boston for playing a game with his own account.
A ladder that you miserably failed, if i am allowed to make you remember.

You on the other hand have tried hard and invested much time and effort to achieve something you didnt.
Not unlike Gnuffles in intention, you wanted to be perceived as the best player of warlight.
You made countless threads to pimper your ego, but sadly they were all fast forgotten. You never got many replies and you rarely got any appreciation. But somehow for a grown man, that is too much for you to bear. Gnuffles is a teenager, but you are double that age.

You say there will never be a piggy vs hand rivalry, when you desperatedly did nothing else but trying to create one. You even doubted my offline success with women that much, that you tried to look me up and see if I am really more handsome than you are. myhand is a perfectionist. He has played on other accounts and realizes it might be unsatisfying to join and not do as well as he would hope. Plus, he fears the attention any loss would bring: he has played over 1500 1v1s, but only 30 as myhand. He is like a Mexican wrestler: even when the wrestler wears a mask and everyone knows who he is, the mask makes him feel stronger and more heroic!

Much the same goes for his avoidance of the 2v2 ladder. He saw what happened to gnuff and sze on the 2v2 ladder. It took gnuff 50-60 games to find a teammate to lead him to the promise land. And Sze never had a chance at the 2v2 ladder; his game theory calculator only works for 1v1s and 3v3s. Myhand has a good idea about his 2v2 ladder ability (not much different than sze or gnuff before Belzebu held gnuff's virgin hand) and he doesn't want to give dead piggy any reason to gloat. That would be insufferable. It is best for myhand's sense of self to avoid the 2v2 ladder!

Edit: I had no idea the piggy vs myhand non-rivalry was going on on page 1. I just thought it would be a good time to start a new rivalry.

I dont want to be percieved as the best player of warlight. If i did i might play something besides strat 1v1. I would also probably make more ladder runs. I just like playing and getting better. The threads I made were for other people, youre correct that I never got many replies, but some people did like them and they were fun to make. You shouldnt judge how worthwhile a post is on how many replies it gets, but some of them got shit loads of feedback and i got a little appreciation and Im not twice as old as gnuffles im 25 soooo what the fuck are you talking about?

I try to coax you into games...I try to get lots (all?) good players to play with me, i like hard games. 90% are very happy to indulge me, you are not because win% and notoriety and bullshit mean so much to you. So I try much harder and you tease me. It makes you feel good. I enjoy it too.

The first two seasons of Ren & Stimpy are great but it lost it's flavor after Kricfalusi left the show. Years later they tried to bring the show back with Ren & Stimpy's Adult Party Cartoon but it was really forced and not funny.
