This tournament will have a scheduled so we can properly set all we need.

The tournament is set to start July 1st 2012.
We have this 2 weeks to sort all the teams that will play and the teams will have enough time decide their best squad.

Captains will be decided naturally. If a team can't agree on a captain, first we need to check the possibility of a 2nd team of the country, and lastly will be a simple votation between all the willing players of that region.

We won't necessarely need 32 Teams, any multiple of 4 above 16 will start the tournament in the right date. The only thing will change is the sorting of the 2nd round.



There will be groups of 4 with advancing teams:
Groups 1st round (July 1st): A team faces another, and all 9 games between them are created.

Groups 2nd round (July 16th): Each team faces the next team, and all 9 games will be created, it doesnt matter the status of previous games

Groups 3rd round (August 1st): Each team play the last in their group, all games are created, it doent matter the status of previous games.

All games will END (forcefully if necessary) at August 31. We will set the rules for declaring winners later.

The teams will receive points in each game. 1 point for strategic 1v1 and 2v2 victories, 2 points for europe 3v3 victories, and 3 points for th 7v7 victory.

The 1st position of each group will be sorted 1-8 (it can have less than 8 groups) according to number of total points in group stage. Than the same thing to the 2nd position of each group. Than next round will be a single elimination bracket with the proper seeds.
(Special achievments and prizes for a full 39 score?)

I need help for the current tasks:

1. Sorting the players that are interested and grouping them by their regions. Also creating games to make them connect each other. 2 helpers for the next 2 weeks.
2. 3 Non-members (or members) to create the strategic 1v1 and 2v2 games (at the dates above).
3. 2 Members to create the Europe 3v3 and the 7v7 games.



Now the answers:
@Vacations: You can be out just of the games in the period will won't be able to play. The teams can change every change of round.

@Regions Suggestions: you need to sort it for yourselfs, talk to people you know, and to people that had shown interest in the forum, i cant help to manage the 32 teams.

@Burning Bridges: I think is fair that the players can play everygame possible, each team has to manage to see if that is the best result. The game will have the same auto-boot settings for all games.

@Niko: each team can have at LEAST 7 players.

But if there were a team called 'East Asia' or 'The Orient' based on physical location, that could be fun: Bumblebee, myhandisonfire, the [中国阳朔] guys, 大哥 The Offender, Ska, me. Bumblebee could be our mascot and team captain, since the rest of us are foreigners in East Asia. Otherwise, I don't mind playing for a team based on nationality (East US) or ethnicity (Scandinavia or England).

I would rather play for a team based on nationality (East US); not sure there are many players from Kuwait.
