Impossible to debate with these people Ska. Wait for somebody with some intelligence to take a stack against your point of view.

Ska, could you finally stop waffling and start mention something relevant to this off topic discussion? It is exhausting to even read so much bullshit at once...

I really worry for you.
By the way I don't really worry for you [..]
I really worry for you.

Do you know what you want to say or even what you finally have written? As your entire reply is full of meaningless, hollow phrases, inane, invented cross references as well as premises and polemic (which is always a proof for stupidity and lack of arguments) it might be a waste of time to continue arguing in a serious way. You vehemently pointed out the meaning of the word metaphor. As you seem to be the master of rhetoric speech and figures of speech you should actually know that the meaning of a metaphor and terms in generall depends on the point of view by every individuum. Unfortunately it doesnt have any relevance in your specific case, cause you rather used a historic quote instead of an appropriate metaphor.

[But, but but] I don't agree with this, if any fight is worth fighting, you fight it everywhere, yes you can fight in a place where you're victory means more but only speaking up when something is at the point where you think it is a serious problem to you reminds me of Niemöller:"

maybe you think it is extra eloquent to rip fancy quotes, you have once heard, out of their historical context and change their meaning until it fits into your troll message. But needless to say it is not. You want to fight the evil? and you think the flags here are worth fighting them? Holy crap! Just go ahead, but pls dont profess to be intelligent. This is hilarious.

Arun, as you guys are so horny for quotes, I have one for you made by Albert Einstein: Even an idiot finds someone more stupid, who will follow him.

Metaphor is an example of using one thing to describe another. Important word 'example'. Making up things that I didn't say then wasting lines saying it's wrong is worse than a strawman. It's just you making things up.

I didn't rip it out of it's historical context I said exactly what Niemöller wanted us to get from his essay. That refusing to say that you don't agree with something until it has past the point where saying you don't agree with it is useless. Is not the best thing.

So if I said to you, Oh you quoted Einstein, he paved the way for the hydrogen bomb that killed many thousands in Japan. You are trivializing the deaths of thousands of individuals.

Would I be right? No of course I wouldn't be. You are merely using a quote to help describe something.
