Hello there, few months ago I posted there a post about Champions League - league for the winners of clan's internal event. Many clans very interested in this event and now I can finally announce that we are currently starting first season of this league!

Champions League system
Champions League has two stages.
In the first stage, all 16 participants will be randomly divided into 4 groups with no two clanmates playing in the same group. All players will play two round robin tournaments within their group with everyone playing 6 matches during the group stage. Round robin tournaments will be played consecutively. If there are two or more players with the same score, they will be sorted by their common matches. If it's still tied then a tiebreaker will be played continuously to determine the ultimate outcome.
Best two players from each group promote to the second stage - single elimination tournament where Warzone algorithm randomly pairs all 8 promoted players. Two clanmates may have to face each other in the first round of the second stage. Winner of the second stage (knockout) is the Champion's League Champion.
Champions League will be played on the Numenor template.

Are you going to post the template for the next season? It would make sense to have qualifications running concurrently with this season's competition (as that's how it works in football).

This is some kind of "test" season. If there would be interest, more seasons will come, but we need to talk about future format etc. after the season.

But yes, I am aiming on what are you saying, but probably next template will pick up winner of this season

CORP wasn't interested in the event, if my notes are correct. But they won't be playing first season even if they were interested, because there was place for 8 clans in this first season and clans with better result in Clan League were prioritised - this was case of fight between TWFH/Harmony vs TLA

except there is no more tsfh/harmony :P does this mean TLA is in?

No, you can see all participiants in the first post, in time of nomination there was Harmony and their nomitees are treated as a Harmony players.

It was kinda complicated to coordinate all participated clans to make their nominations, most of them made nominations based on internal p/r leagues, internal events or some other qualification (what was goal) and if there would be any change in clan nomination, it may have date schedule consequences. We are starting this event month and half later then I expected
