Diplomacy games have become very popular recently. Maybe a standard template should be added like with 1vs1 and 2vs2?

It would require no rules as anyone could join it. It would also have few members. Maybe something like the strategic RP game template I have created several versions of and run a lot.

im sorry this is kinda my fualt all week ive been making my diplo templae i real time and once people see one they want me to make like a dozen and i wont because it takes like five minutes tomake one cause my computers slow and then people start asking in public matches. What i thnk is funy is that people join those games to play them. but no its kinda my fualt if you want to make a default diplo template id be happy to give you mine or make one

Ergh, pretty sure that computer shouldn't be running Windows XP.

Pentium 4's were the norm when Windows XP was released.

Pentium 2's were the norm during the windows 98 days.

i know its a genuine POS i upgraded to winxp because they guy at my comuter store said it would be ok becuase i had enough RAM. i can barely run a web browser.

why do people even consider replying to an obvious troll telling he spent $30 for a membership in a free to play game to play it on a computer worth around $10? you could get a lot better computers for free in Poland just by asking if somebody has an old machine of his laying somewhere in basement or attic..

no games that are begging for diplomacy games should be allowed, it clogs the lobby with meaningless games, is annoying, and messes up normal gameplay, its impossible to play a good 24 player ffa nowadays without people getting angry about someone attacking without declaring. buy a membership if you cant wait for a member to create one

What would be be banned for? Making games? I don't understand why it's a big deal or how it's annoying? They're just matches. Although best way to solve this would be to provide membership for everyone ;)

My evil side considers the idea of encouraging all members to blacklist anyone who asks for a diplo game and then make one in a cruel twist of ironry. Mwhaaaaa!
Just a quirky thought I felt the need to share with you so don't actually do that.

Make sure it has the ultimate troll settings combo:

Players turn AI when surrendered and/or booted, and AI's don't surrender.

Dead Piggy, give each person 100,000 reinforcement cards of 1 army, and 0 cards left a turn, 2 minute boot 5 minute autoboot.

If you don't want to be too mean, make each bonus 0, starting income 1, rein cards 1 and for every attack, and the maximum income = territories or the rule which is similar, and on the map with 24 circles which all border each other, no idea of the name though.

Those are both quite trollish settings, and definitely add Omniscient's suggestion, as game takes ages to end and people might even surrender to AIs as they have to leave
