A hybrid of Incaman's with 7 and 9 would look best imo.

whatever you decide on, for brand continuity I would definitely use the same style for both ios and android.

On a large scale like on the home page the flat images are better suited but on the really small scale mobile device the Globe (#9) looks a lot more sexy and sharper. Clear background for android and coloured background for ios

I believe putting an hybrid of incaman's arrows on 7 and 9 will work.

I believe the one on the right gives a more aesthetically pleasing. The one on the left looks like something from the early 2000's. I would go with the one on the right just make it a full map.

I do however. Want to cast my vote for a Simple "WL" logo
If not only to create brand recognition, and assist people in remembering and coming back to WL because its familiar and friendly to them.

I like 9 for IOS. But maybe add a background cause it looks like a Internet icon.

Fizzer - you've also got to bear in mind what the new iOS 7 icons are going to look like - more rounded and softer colour schemes.

That looks so much worse as what they have now imo :\
