I'm not sure of your level Ironheart, but I can definitely look over some of your games and as long as you have the basics down, I'll help teach you more.

Most of the players I have seen so far have needed the most help on picks, I'll try to think of some things I can do to help them with that.

Please invite me to a game though.

JSA, I'd be interested in tutoring from you. I have just joined the ladder, so it would be great to have a leg up on 1 vs. 1 games.

Paperhat, I am sorry but your first game makes it look like you need intermediate tutoring first. I'll glance at your ladder stats every now and then and once it looks like you've mastered intermediate, I will be glad to help tutor you.

Yes, like Pulsey says, it is preferred you have a rating of 1600 or more because at that point, you probably have come close or have already mastered the intermediate level. If someone has a rating of 1550 or so, there's a good chance I will still help them though, it's not that you have to be within 1600-1850, but rather be in that general area.

Tigger, we're already playing a game, I don't know what else I can really do to help you, I guess I can treat you like the other people I am tutoring, even though I you are better than all of them.

And for everyone, I plan to start making a tutorial for strategic 1v1, similar to what Sze did for Europe 3v3 except with different settings. Any top players wanting to help me with that task, please make a game with me and we can almost certainly make it better than what I could do on my own. I will probably wait to start this task until August 3rd or so because I am going to leave on vacation in about 3-4 days and I don't want to start it and then have to refresh myself on all that I have done in that time.

I'd be interested in joining. All my recent commitments have now expired, so I have free time to help, if I'm needed.

We'll see if you still think that after your next three games... the ladder notoriously overranks "new" players. Congrats though! :D

(I notice TeddyFSB is making a hell of a run, unless he screws up he'll return to the ladder at #1. And my n00b butt never even seen him around until just now...)

I've been thinking about rejoining the 1v1 ladder. Are you (or anyone else in this thread for that matter) up for some multidays?
