Kerosea, I'm not going to do a JSA. I don't (consciously have any difference in focus depending on the competition). Depending on the time, maybe so though. It never fails to amaze me how I played we'll in some tutor games or competitions, yet I fail so miserably in the ladder :(

Jay lies, nobody changes focus between games. He just blames his mistakes on not focusing.

@Arun: I have no clue how you'd compare yourself to JSA considering the fact that JSA has been in 5 different clans. If anything though, you might just be more determined to prove your worth on a clean slate rather than the ladder which has a history of you doing meh-average.

Either that or you have pride in your clan which is exactly the opposite of JSA, the clanhopper. It might not show as well on the ladder as 1) Only the top 10 are shown and you know you can't make top 10 yet on 1v1 and 2) I'm your 2v2 ladder partner :3 (Speaking of which we should go for top 10 on 2v2.)

I compare myself to JSA as he often says he could get number 1 if he focuses. I'd like him to prove it and not to parade the fact he could do (but hasn't) done something. I feel I'm the polar opposite of that. I must get lucky some games (or maybe as you suggested, my clan could be a subconscious reason for me playing well). However in tutor games with Photon, I played as well as I ever have (beating him twice in a row!!). I'd love these results to transcribe into the ladder but for whatever reason, I can't ;(

Kero we got close with 13th, See if you and Arun can top that. But to be fair both me and Kero weren't playing our best, we weren't even discussing picks.
And Arun Photon I would say is my level we are playing some 1v1 games to help eachother, and you've beaten me a couple of times.

Couse of Thor auto -7, we are in big disadvantage :(

Ekstone I was going to do exactly that - but at the time there was no reason to. Thor logged in every day according to his profile - he simply failed to join that tournament. Unfortunately by the time I realised he hadn't joined the tournament had started. I even created a chat game with him to ask him why but deleted it after I checked the tournament and saw it had started. I'm really kicking myself about it :/

Yes Arun, you've beaten me once at strate 1v1 in a live streamed tourney, tbh I didn't play very well, but you still beat me, we can play a few 1v1 games if you want (to help?). With the thor case maybe give warlighters a few compensation points or something, Cause that is quite unfair.

And I like Photon's idea. Thanks for the suggestion of compensation Alex but I feel that would be unfair to others; to get points for nothing. If we could put forward one of our number to play every player in that RR it will be much fairer and put more competition in there.

agreed that is the best idea, if JSA agrees. I'm not sure I can teach you a lot (but I will do the best I can), as your not far away from my skill level.

And as JSA doesn't take care of division b, maybe consulting Aranka (or whoever organised this) is best. I feel that if we get a general consensus here we should just go ahead and do it though. All we are doing is making it a little fairer :)

Well personally I think that would be sort of unfair

MC doesn't have enough active players to compensate their inactive players and I'm sure this situation also applies to other alliances if the situation would arise

I don't know what the other alliances in this competition think about it, but I would personally have some questions with regards to this idea

So far I won't put in a negative vote towards the matter just yet - for I first want to see the general consensus of others

I feel MC is a different case altogether - their numbers are too low to fill their quota. We have something like 20 players; more than enough to put in a full entry into the competition. Not to have a full entry compromises the possibility of us doing well (top 4 at least, or better). By allowing us to put in a full compliment of players, you give a clan a chance here, and increase the competition in the event (which surely can't be a bad thing).

Aranka, it's only been 2 days, but in general GG/VIW gained points and Master/101st lost points.

Personally I'd be for the change considering the rankings look like this...

Not creating games throws Warlighter(s) into third-last, and puts MC 10 points behind seventh, something that, when I ranked them, I said would be near-impossible to make up for MC. If anything, Nyan and SamDatt are playing in the 2v2/3v3 ones also so you may as well contact them.

If they are MC and you mean to contact them with regards to late entries, great! I think both clans should have a chance. I also think it should be the responsibility of the said clan to create the games though (not fair to give others extra work). Should I set some up (for obvious reasons, one at a time).

What exactly does creating games have to do with the skills of a clan? Why are points partly detimired by this?

JSA created 4 1v1 Round Robin tournaments (On the first page, Arun has a post to them). Three players, Thor2323 (of Warlighter), Nyan and SamDatt (both of MC) failed to join their 1v1 Round Robin tournament.

In the last clan league points were just deducted from those teams. But Arun/Photon are suggesting that they manually create games so that the teams don't have to suffer the 7 point penalty per player for not joining the tournament.

And, yes, Nyan/SamDatt are the MC players that failed to join yet are in 2v2 and 3v3.

Arun, that creates more problems than it is worth. When you asked for bcatfish to be replaced, I asked you if you wanted someone to replace Thor too and you said he would join. I heard complaints about it taking a while to start, and so if the clan leader cannot provide a suitable replacement within the 2-3 weeks since I first invited(maybe more), that is the clan's fault and they should be punished accordingly. That's how I plan on running it. If you make a chat game with all the clan leaders of the clans in B league and have them vote (not including yourself), and they vote to let you guys make it up, then that is fine. If they vote it down, then you will have to take the few extra losses.
