2.0 is on and all I can see is FARMING, non members getting my same "privileges", and a lot of confused people about what is unlocked and when.

I'll have to agree with Anonymous, 2.0 is mostly about bunch of guys competing over who has the bigger dic--, level I mean

and most of the "achievements" are pretty pointless, since getting them is a matter of just creating a custom scenario game

I'm not even angry, just expected some more useful features

map of unlocked possibilities per level: i would prefer that fizzer keeps this a secret. 1) let hedja and others discover these things. it might be more interesting this way. 2) fizzer retains flexibility to add new features at different levels IN THE NEAR FUTURE before anyone reaches a certain high level. if he were to make a list, he might feel limited by that list. by not making a list, he can make new features if/as he pleases. more flexibility as a creator.

hey, i didnt complain in public places, i just saved up awhile to buy this thirty dollars membership BUT MEMBERS STILL HAVE LADDERS :D, as long as nonmembers dont get ladders i will be fine, probably most of the members agree with me (ladders are the crown jewel of membership)

What actually annoys me the most of 2.0 is looking for new realtime games and constantly finding this

would be nice if we could blacklist maps/settings/players from showing on the open games list. i dont want to see this point farming crap when i'm looking for actual games worth playing.

As far as I'm concerned, Ladders are worth getting the membership for. Although I think the more elevated status members had before was good for business. Despite the complaints I think they're definitely still worthwhile.

Actually I am angry: I do not think it is fair that non members, no offence, can make anything from custom scenarios to 28 player games. I cannot make a 28 player game and yet I payed $30. I mean besides ads why buy a membership. It's like selling someone a sword and then handing them out to everyone who joins a battle. Obviously it takes some time, but why do members have to do it, why did I pay $30... now I kind of want it back.

The M.A.N. that's my opinion too. I think that all the new features (local deployment, 40 player games) should have been available to members from the start. It would be the least we deserve after having a lot (almost all) of the features we paid for being made non-exclusive, being free for anyone who can be bothered to make some crappy quadruel games.

I agree. I don't money back because i did it to support the project. But I'd like to see member get some more "gratitude" by giving them all the settings of the game. If only at level 38 you unlock 28 ffa...well...fuck my life, i will get there in months, if not years...i will never unlock anything as i already played 4000 games which didn't count for the unlocks, make it at least the member thing to count for them.

I think this is awesome, Fizzer made an update, Fizzer fixed warlight financially(at least, i do hope he succeeded in that) which gives him much better possibilities on improving warlight for the players in the future, and people complain they expected more.
he added some features.
He added a level-system and he made sure that nobody lost any features (while the new set-up of warlight actually forces new players to level up before getting access to all the features,) and people complain about the new features not being instantly available as well.
He gave some more features to non-members and gave them ads, and people complain about their membership being worth less, while pre-2.0 a non-member could get most member-features just by asking a member to make it for him; the only thing non-members couldn't get were ladders, and now it is ladders and ad-free playing, yet people are jaleous.

I feel ashamed not realizing this from the start of the thread, but:

To be honest aside from the app that I got l, WL has kind of ripped us members off, I agree with [UN] The man as well.

All our features used to mean something, now they're just blue M's beside our names

Not to forget the new level system allows Fizzer to reduce alts or to punish by taking away levels.

So they just farm themselves right back

A non-member will find it a lot easier to argue against My/Red/M.A.N.'s side. No matter what we say I can see we won't sway you. I can see why you would like 2.0 - You've gained a lot from it, so enjoy it :)

@Arun: what have i really gained of it ? Opening 6vs6 player games? You talk about non-members being allowed to play the ladder. What level do i have to get to be able to do that? Moreover, I as a non-member have ads now. Thats not really a gain but i m ok with it.
