I think the main thing here is that Lawlz was invited into the chat for the sole intention of slating their way of life. This wasn't a case of Lawlz joining the chat after seeing it in the open games section, giving a load of abuse out themselves and then calling foul when the tables were turned, it was a clear case of the others in this chat wanting Lawlz added so that fun could be made at their expense and abuse thrown.

All it really goes to show is the childishness and idiocy of those involved, and moreover shows that they have nothing better to do with their sad excuses for lives. Everything said in the chat is way over the top and far beyond what could be described in any way as banter.

Sad Panda, as for your justification that this was partly due to something Lawlz said about your family in 2014 is hogwash, it's no excuse for what went on in that chat as you could have easily just avoided/ignored Lawlz from then on, and reported him/her at the time for it. Also, saying you apologised is again nothing to count in your favour, an apology means nothing in essence and just because you did apologise it does not mean you still did not believe in everything you said in the chat or was sorry in any way for saying it.

In my first post I tried dodging around the overall topic of transsexualism in order to avoid starting an argument. However, it seems an argument (And a flame filled one at that) has started up anyways. So I'm going to go ahead and throw in my two cents. Get your flamethrowers ready.

Regarding the chat, it's the sad nature of the internet. You'll be attacked for literally any reason. LGBTs are actually relatively safe on the internet compared to people belonging to any kind of religious affiliation. Seriously, the hostility towards religion on certain areas of the web is at levels most people wouldn't believe. That all being said, I don't support harassing people and I'm not trying to justify harassment either.

Now for the really touchy part. In my honest opinion transsexualism is nothing but a mental disorder. Whenever someone believes they are something they're not it means they're delusional. Delusions are supposed to be slowly broken down until the sufferer comes to term with reality. One thing you don't do is indulge the delusion. I don't believe that transsexuals should be bullied or mistreated as they are suffering from a disorder which isn't their fault, however, I think we should also focus on treating the condition and not endorsing it.

The above paragraph is not meant to be offensive or insulting, you can choose to take it that way and become enraged but that's your choice. I'm stating my honest opinion as respectfully as I can put it.
