Maybe make Group A the same size as the other Groups? Make all groups with 6 or 7 clans so the groups will finish more simultaneous.

yeah i think next season WM will not play.
Fridge is too busy irl so is liekly he will not play for a while.

Well, we want 7 in each division (with D being irregular sized based on new teams).

So we'd promote/relegate as needed. It would simply be a vote by the panel on it. We did the same this season when [20] dropped (French took their place I think).

If WM leaves the clan league, group A,B and C will have 6 clans.
To make them all 7:
1 team that gets relegated in all groups;
2 teams get promoted in group B;
3 teams get promoted in group C;
4 teams get promoted from group D.
or...
2 teams that gets relegated in all groups;
3 teams get promoted in group B;
4 teams get promoted in group C;<<No clan stays in group C this way)
5 teams get promoted from group D.

Last season, two were reglated still; 3 from Group B were promoted. To keep it consistent, the same thing needs to be done again.

Well, actually 2 were promoted from B (but French took place of [20] who would have been promoted). In their place, a third team was promoted from C to B.

Hope I remembered that correctly...but at any rate we did vote to always relegate 2 and promote extra as needed (as JSA said). So the same would be done if WM dropped out.

Then Masters will be back in Group A if they get 1 more point? <3

Chris we are with only 6 clans in B now since there were only 2 clans promoted from C (lynx and blitz), 2 stayed in the group (4th and 5th of season 5, BIA and VIW) and 2 clans were relegated (Master and 101st).
As Orange said this might be then that 4 clans from C will have to promote to B to get the 7 clans in there once again or 3 from C and #1 D with a super promotion to keep variety in who the clans play against each season.

edit: Even though Masters didn't win any game since last update i did they managed to guarantee the 3rd place in Group B. This is guaranteed due to the fact that BIA lost multiple games since last update and they were only holding back the fact that Masters would become 3rd in the group even though it was already pretty obvious they would be

WM have gone from 3rd on the standings to dead last now that we sort by max points from here on out. The reason for their sudden drop is the fact every game with Fridge involved in the team has been surrendered. Apex have 2 tournament wins, GG have 1 with another 3 that are mathematically theirs but we shall wait for the tournament to actually end first.

Apex very barely hold on to 1st place, GG definitely have the edge if Apex drops more games. AHoL are 4-1 in 3v3 Europe. If they win the remaining 7, that's another 35 points in their pocket and a ticket out from being relegated. Crazy stuff. I would interview NoobSchool on their 3v3 Europe tactics, but I'm pretty sure he would only talk about brands of whiskey.

WG have become a threat to 1st place, but there's a lot of ground to cover. They rely heavily on winning out their team games to really put a dent into the standings.

Will Apex or GG go home with this trophy? Will AHoL be relegated or somehow manage to stay in League A? Who will be the league's most valuable player? FIND OUT next time on CLAN LEAGUE A. (don't sue me DBZ ;-;)

I was just watching back the first few pages of this thread and especially to who everybody thought that would be winning the specific groups.

So was for group A the battle mostly between WG and Apex and at most lists GG was on 4th or even 5th place. Meanwhile on my form GG was actually 2nd with votes who would be winning group A after Apex and just in front of WG. Now we are over halfway it is looking like Apex and GG will be facing off for the 1st place with WG on the 3rd place.

In group B everybody was basically saying it would end with Lynx, Masters, Blitz, and in this order but now with only 3 to 7 games left for each clan Lynx and Blitz are still competing for the 1st place and a specific 3v3 between those 2 clans might be the win that makes those clans actually win the group.
Some also called VIW as a dark horse in the group but are under performing due to the fact that they have decided to actually put up a wide range of players to play with so more going for the fun then the real competition..

For group C the most said that XS would become 1st and they were right in this most likely but after that most were saying Turtles and REGL but actually right now from the last update it seems that BR is on the 2nd place in group C for the moment but it's still pretty close between those 3 clans.


I've also taken a look at who actually voted correctly for the winner on my form and in this i have for group A chosen to include both GG and Apex since they are the 2 most likely to win here, for group B Lynx and Blitz since 1 of them will win this group for sure and for group C just XS since their margin to winning is so big that they nearly can't give it away any more.
With this information i went on searching in the list and only 6 players from the 31 who filled the form actually have a change on getting it correctly but there is even a way that nobody will get groups A, B and C correct and that is if Apex will win group A and if Blitz will win group B.
the 6 players who still have the change to get everything correct are Braak (GG), Angry (GG), JSA (lynx), sabali, myself (blitz) and the troll username.

Yeah, JSA and I both said GG were being underrated. I thought we'd be in the hunt for #1, but we dropped some games I did not expect and also lost a few to boots from Summer having emergency.

@Chris: Well you technically still are, in a week or 2 we may be able to show that it's almost impossible.

GG vs Apex is a very tough fight. Unfortunately have to say it's much tougher than WG vs Apex last season.

With their new recruits GG might be even harder to face next season

i had GG pretty high up there with Apex actually due to the recent ladder successes that GG had at that point and it looks like they are performing like expected

REGL at the end did as VIW and decided to let a lot of players play despite being "bad" for the objective of trying to return to group B so I'm a bit surprised of us having chances :P

I was just looking at the list and Lynx has 1 2v2 game left and if they win that game and Blitz wins at least 2 out of their 4 2v2 games then then the 3v3 game between those 2 clans will decide which clan will actually win the group and who will finish in 2nd place.

This is actually very likely just if you look the 2v2 games those 2 clans have left so group B will actually be decided on a direct game between the top 2 clans in the group

Looks like our strategy went well. Reducing the players pool to the most competitives worked out despite being not so fun.
