When that guy refuses to speak to someone as a person because they have brown eyes, refuses to sit next to them on a bus, makes their life hell by insulting them, or passes them over for a promotion because they have brown eyes however, that's more akin to homophobia. Or at least to most homophobes. Some people are merely uncomfortable around gay couples, but don't see the need to vocalize to everyone in sight that homosexuality is wrong (in their eyes). They can't control the way they feel, they can control the way they act however.

I'm referring to homophobes being able to repress their hatred or disgust, not homosexuals needing to repress their homosexuality, their homosexuality harms no one, homophobic actions on the other hand are not victimless.

As I don't believe in any, there is no evidence to confirm that deities exist and no evidence to confirm that they don't exist. I disagree about whether said action was actually pointless. Taking any "grossness" out of it, what is innately unnatural? Heterosexuals can have the kinds of sex that homosexuals can, and the point of sex for some may be to express their love for one another, or solely for pleasure. Continuing with the "unnatural" point, because the exact acts can happen among heterosexuals, the main part of the issue is that certain acts don't result in conception and pregnancy. In which case, can an infertile man have sex with his wife post menopause? Or can two infertile heterosexuals have sex?

If it's unnatural and your god doesn't want it to happen, why does he allow it to happen? Having the ability to manipulate everything in the known universe, seems like he could stop it anytime he wanted to.

I'm guessing you live in a country where the inhabitants have very few rights. I'd suggest moving out of North Korea as soon as possible. Many countries are part of the UN, the UN has a list of basic human rights that it's member countries must allow for the country to still have membership in the UN. Therefore, the UN's list of human rights supersedes the individual countries list of human rights, unless the country guarantees more than the UN minimum.

So, in general, you have more rights. Were you being kept from marriage, kept from entering certain establishments, and harassed because of X trait you have, I think your tone would change.

Do you live under a rock? The world has a problem with overpopulation, not its opposite. The world population is skyrocketing. This is the general tendency, even if some countries have local shortages. Human need to reproduce is no argument against homosexuality.

P.S.: Overpopulation is not a problem, distribution of wealth is, always has been. Overpopulation is a result of extreme uneven distribution of wealth in third world countries. You see, anyone using even slightly provocative language when talking about islamic countries is labeled a racist when it comes to myhandisonfire, and preferably censored. Yet he reserves himself the right to use equally, if not even more, provocative language in other contexts, and rages at Fizzer if he deletes myhand's threads. He decided to report my non-racist comment as racist, while ignoring all the racism, homophobia, and religious bigotry that has characterized a number of threads in the last few days.
