I hate having to adjust the Map Settings every time that I think I might want to start a new game...

Is there a way to save the settings that I want?

(I'm new, I don't have many favorite maps,
and I can't be bothered to stock up as a workaround to a setting that seems... botched.)

(I'm new, I don't have a decent appreciation for the best maps yet... and I can't be arsed to re-rate poor maps.)

If there isn't a way to save these settings,
is there a Uservoice petition to say that we want to be able to save these settings? :-/

I assume you are talking about the settings of a game when you create it, distribution, luck etc. Yes you can save these, after creating the settings before launching the game it comes up saying 'would you like to save these settings as a template'. Hit yes and then next time you can just load in that template and even make changes to it without redoing everything.

I want to save the default display options for the process of creating ANY game.

I don't believe that it is possible, but it doesn't take that long to set up.

I don't really think it takes long to change, and I think after a while you'll have built templates on your favourite maps, so don't usually need to keep finding maps.

Took me a few reads to understand what you were talking about here :P
