This is an excellent map to play ffa's on. Whilst it is unusual and not like any other Warlight map, this, is what makes the game so much more enjoyable.

The premise of the map is this: Certain territories belong in 1-province-big-bonuses that give you a 1. Territories that do not give you a 1 bonus are generally choke-points or territories that border many territories that do.

With this in mind, great strategical battles can be played out. In my opinion, these areas are far more important than the bonus-provinces are.

A previous review stated that the waterways confused him, so i'll explain them.

The sea areas are blue, and seperated by black lines. The circles in the centre of these seas is where it displays your armies, but you should consider the blue area to be the territory, as what that connects to it is what the territory connects to.

I find this mechanic to be very rewarding, as sea lanes are often neglected in Warlight maps.

In conclusion, I give this map a 5/5 for it's fun strategic play.

For a very long time I looked for a map that was like 'Diplomacy' and now I found it!
1: Playing this with a few friends does NOT feel like actual 'Diplomacy', if you wanted to play that, just go play Diplomacy
2: Playing this without wanting it to feel like Diplomacy is actually really fun, the concept of only certain territories giving extra armies is fun, though I think for this to work changing the way that waterways work by a bit would be cool.
