Pretty sure we deleted most of the makeup games we had made anyways. We'll accept our fate of falling to B because of our mistake to play one player in 4 tournaments. Just happy to have Darkpie back!

I'm sure that created now, they all would finish long before hhh's tournament games...

that's is rather likely, as HHH has 5 games left to play, out of 6 of whole A-League

Alright guys, so let's discuss what can happen from this point. If Apex wins their game vs GG, and French wins their game vs Blitz, Apex takes first based on both tiebreakers, the head-to-head scores and tournament wins.

If Apex loses vs GG and French loses vs Blitz, Apex wins.

If Apex loses vs GG and French wins vs Blitz, French wins.

If Blitz wins vs either French or Lynx, Blitz stays in A.

If Blitz loses vs both French and Lynx, Lynx stays in A.

I apologize for calling Lynx relegated earlier in the thread, I was counting that Lynx's last game would be forfeit to Blitz, but Darkpie has returned. It has been a very long season, and to see that the winner will most likely be decided on tiebreaker speaks to the competitiveness this season despite the boots.

Congrats to GG for making the podium spot, and congrats to WG for making 4th despite the bad start.

So we are throwing our games for ... nothing???

Are your 'mates' not putting in effort? I say mates with quotes because in the games I saw, 2/3 of your players are no longer in Blitz anymore.

HHH got booted last game and doesn't put in any effort...., we surrender our games. Lynx deserves it anyways I think.

Kind of a noble decision to throw the games. Sucks to have hhh, but it also sucks for everyone playing the clan league to wait on him to finish his stalling excess

Not sure the when. I have rules sheets we are discussing. I am looking at them right now (4/5 of panel has weighed in on them), and finalizing the rules. Once those are all completed, I will post them for everyone to see. I am also collecting template submissions that CL8-A will vote on. When I post the rules sheet, I will also give a deadline on those submissions.

From an outsiders perspective, and an admittedly harsh one, I think for the future Lynx would be a more deserving clan in Division A. Sorry Blitz, you have great players but so many clanmates jumped ship this season (idk why) and it leaves Lynx substantially stronger, at least... I think.

EDIT: But obviously Blitz still have good better of staying in A, regardless of who is the stronger clan currently.

I think either clan would have trouble competing in A again, Masters/Turtles promoting doesn't bode well for inconsistencies. Next league is one that will be decided on who can make the least mistakes. Lynx went positive in only 2 tournaments, and even with Darkpie competing in 4 of those tournaments it doesn't really bode well. Compare it to French/Apex who went positive in 7-9 tournaments. (French went positive in 9, Apex in 7.), that's the kind of consistency you need to be a top contender. I think both would struggle to stay and neither would be top contenders, but I could obviously be wrong (Anyone guess French would tie Apex this season..? Anyone...?)

The trouble is you have no idea who will

A) be in the clan at that time

B) who will compete for the clan at that time.


Anything could happen. JSA could retire, Darkpie or someone else could go inactive (again). Or an elite player could join Lynx and they compete. Who's to say?

Doubful I'll be competing next season. Busy in real life; warlight's a low priority for me right now.

I believe Lynx has the talent to stay in Group A, with or without me. However, I may be wrong, and we won't know for sure until after the next season. I am sure Lynx will do far better than this season (Darkpie's boots and new adds), but Lynx is facing stronger competition too.

I really like how the next season looks skill-wise. In my opinion, Masters look like the best clan in terms of skill at the top and their depth is outstanding. Turtles is another strong addition and I see them as having a fighting chance at staying in A. None of the clans stand out to me as very likely to be relegated. And even though I'd predict a Masters victory, I'd still put them down as having an under 50% chance of winning it.

Should be an awesome league next season, and can't wait to see how it all plays out!

Before the season started, about 5-6 players in the FC clan chat stated that we would/could/might win.

Based on past performances (the FC has held its own with GG/Apex in 1v1s but didn't have enough depth in team tournaments), I assumed that my addition help fill the gap in points from team games. I thought third place was a lock, second was most likely, and first was possible. I assumed that CL 8 would be the year the FC's chances of winning would be highest among all clans.

Apex has officially won season 7 of the Clan League. Apex ties with French, but wins both tiebreakers, head-to-head matchups and tournament wins.

Blitz will relegate to B, Lynx has managed to stay alive.

Congratulations to everyone's frontrunner:

Apex: Brisk leads Apex with a commanding 16-2 record, netting him an 88.89% winrate and 3 tournament wins. I don't know if I can call this the best performance out of any player who participated in 3 tournaments due to being shut out of the old statistics atm, but I believe it is.

French: 125ch209 leads French with a 10-2 record, netting him an 83.33% winrate but lost tiebreakers for the 2 tournaments he was involved in. Last season French faltered majorly in 1v1 consistency, and 3v3 consistency. This season they patched up both problems, 125ch209 being the player who lead the 1v1 charge, and Gui being the player to lead the 3v3 charge. Congratulations to a fantastic performance.

GG: Mike leads GG with a 11-6 record which could still improve, netting him a 64.71% winrate and a tournament win. Mike did the heavy lifting this season for GG, participating in 3 tournaments and doing pretty well in all 3. For Mike's consistency over the season and GG making the podium for the 3rd season in a row, congratulations GG you have nothing to be ashamed of.

WG: Gnuffone leads WG with a 13-5 record, netting him a 72.72% winrate and a tournament win. The tournament win being referred to was a clean sweep against some of the best at the template. Gnuffone did very well in all 3 of the tournaments he was involved in. Without Gnuffone, WG would've been battling relegation for the entire season, but they were able to get a large enough lead against Blitz/Lynx to prevent the pressure from ever happening. WG had an awful start, and bringing themselves back to 4th place took a huge effort. While it's not what they were looking for at the beginning of the season, congratulations to WG for staying in A with a good lead vs the lower bracket of this season.

Lynx: GreenTea leads Lynx with a 9-3 record, netting him a 75% winrate and a tournament win. The tournament win being referred to was a clean sweep, something that no one would've guessed by looking at the participants. GreenTea only played in 2 tournaments but performed above and beyond what he was expected to do. Despite Darkpie leaving Lynx in middle of the season they will retain their spot in A and be totally relieved that Darkpie's magical journey into the world of Real Life doesn't bring them back down to B. Congratulations Lynx for toughing it out despite all the odds.

Blitz: QB leads Blitz with a 11-13 record, netting him a 45.83% winrate, and a tournament tie in 2v2. QB played in 4 tournaments and joined Master in the middle of the season. Blitz as a whole fractured during the season. They were not ready to compete given their activity and you can see this by HHH and QB both playing 4 tournaments. Half of them ended up joining Master who will be coming to A next season, some will say potential squandered, but I have faith that KKND will be able to build this clan back up to the potential it had this season. This is a clan I expect to see back to A next season and they should feel no shame for their scoreline despite the internal clan problems.

AHoL: Normally I would point out a player despite the horrific performance AHoL had, but AHoL won't be competing next season, so I will do my best to write their Clan League obituary. AHoL has competed since season 1, and have made several appearances to the podium. It's genuinely sad to see them go, but with Jefferspin stealing all of their alcohol, they probably saw no reason to stay. Good luck to everyone involved in the AHoL organization and we hope to see you back in the league sometime!
