Sorry Dr Walter Ego, I wasn't sure if you were a clever troll or just a troll who happens to be a pretty good player :P From the game with Robin Hood it looked like your whole aim this season is to try and bring mod as far down as possible, so I made some assumptions I shouldn't have :)

But honestly, you are who so evil to giving me such advices :P

I'm not giving advice on how to bring it lower - I was just pointing out that some people still don't understand the points system on the ladder and that the extra points for games arent taken into account when realising another player's points, so it is better to get the bonus points and lose points for losing than it is to not player if you are aiming to get as low a score as possible.

Ben why would he stall/delay? it wouldn't affect his matchups anymore. The only difference it would make is if he waited out for end of season auto-finish, and that just wouldnt be cool

Eh, my motivation was reduced a lot in this way, especially after I checked the season XIV, where MoD would deserve the win a lot. So from now I will be the biggest fan of MoD for this season :D

Btw, that season presented perfect how bad the ranking system is, MoD had got only 3 defeats and he defeated Killua, but Killua was who won the season despite of his more (4) defeats.

Back to the topic, MoD recent achievements are really very impressive but not because this seasonal ladder, I think.

I mean (and hope) he will win this season, but for this he needed some helps (Markus' and mine) some lucky boot (Robin Hood and Gnuffone (though it happened in picking pahse)). I do not speak about he doesn't deserve the win, he decidely deserve it, because he still had got many very impressive wins and more because of the season XIV, he should won that season, but the ranking system bad...

When I speak about his magnificent performance, I mean rather the coin leaderboard (he won the last one and leads the present one) or his 6-0 record in clan league, etc.

So very well done MoD, keep it, and win the seasonal ladder too, gaining one more gold trophy!

Well, I think you shouldn't say any sorry, this is not your fault, this is because the bad (not enough good) ranking system...
You deserved to win the season XIV., but you didn't win that, now the community give to you this seasonal win instead of that one :P

Btw, I forgot the most important reason why you are who most deserve this seasonal win, you are who loudest cries about getting back this template to the 1vs1 ladder (anyway I hope it won't happen :P ), this is your so adored template :P So I hope you will get that sweet trophy :D

He defeated me but does this mean he deserves the trophy more then me?
I will finish 18-2 and mod would have finished 16-4 if you, markus and robin would have played on.
However, I am still happy to be second and one of my best mates to be first!

i surrendered my basically won game vs acl tears. vs mike i'd have lost anyways. it makes me cry for the time and effort i invested. but qb was just the better Player this time.

for once it was good that acl tears Plays so fucking slow.

I played worse that season than QB. I defeated him on our direct matchup but that changes nothing. As long as he beats acl and Mike now in a fair way he is the legitimate winner of this season.

Winning is not more important than fairness for me. I stood on the other side already.

Great sportsmanship. I just hope ACL isn't the one to profit from this now.

A classy move by a classy guy. Hopefully QB can finish the season with 2 more wins.

It's a pity that idiots like Dr Walter Ego end up ruining so many of our seasons. The only thing Walter was interested in was bragging this season. He tried for a podium finish, failed miserably, and then threw games and tried to beat MoD to claim some bragging rights. His "surrendering" was again just a show.

In stark contrast, MoD surrendering his games just goes to show that there are players out there, who pride being fair over ladder glory. I'm proud of you MoD(and it doesn't surprise me in the least that you did this). I know how much effort you put into this season and it is a pity that Walter wrecked it for you. I still believe that you had a chance even with a loss to him, but I guess we won't know now.

Keep your head held high, I'm sure you will win a seasonal soon.

And very nice try to hurt Ego's ego, but why you think his attempt failed miserably? :O He had got 3 commissioner defeats (one against Pabse (damned counter :P), one against you (very good play, congrats here too) and one against Pushover (lucky one :P). Ok, 4 defeats, because my last totally unmotivated moves likely give the win to ChrisCMU in that game too. But jz is on the podium with 5 defeats :P

Btw, you are right, I am a showman. I want to show that the system is bad...

Earlier I read so many dramas about the ladders (the most popular were the stalling ones, how childish btw...) and it seems I can open a new damdy one (what an evil genius I am!). But stop for a minute, the reason of these are the cretin persons like me or the system itself?...

And I very hope that MoD will win this season (because he deserved the win in season XIV. but the system...) and hope that QB will win the next one undeservedly (just becuase he would deserve this one) :P
