Also how does ladder stalling even work does it happen just on the seasonal (as I heard about some fiasco between Mod and Dr Walter Ego on the seasonal) or can you stall on the 1v1 ladder and if you can how does that affect things (even thought it must be annoying as hell) as the 1v1 doesn't end its linear right?

Seems ymbk still can't get over the fact that some players play slowly. Also, seems he still cannot get over the fact that Norman is his alt/main, and that his troll act amuses no one, nor does anyone even believe it anymore... I don't even see why he bothers trying anymore, seeing how tryhard he is about shoving M'Hunters strength in everyone's face. Are you blind to reality, ymbk? Or is this is entirely a troll act? I dearly hope so, for your sake.

ymbk isn't wrong on that Point. pulsey and Odin stalled a lot on the ladders to blockade the topspot for as long as possible.

solar empire, the stalling on the seasonal and the 1vs1 ladder has different reasons.

if you stall on the 1vs1 ladder it's to try to get ranked with as few losses as possible. After you got ranked you surrender your stalled games.

On the seasonal it's a bit different. There you stall to get paired up with stronger opponents with a higher Rating. Even if you lose to those, your Rating won't go down a lot. But if you win, you completely destroy their Rating after you surrender your earlier lost games too.

Well I don't necessarily disagree with what ymbk said, but his talk about blacklisting and stalling is an attack on me following our 2vs2 game. I am a slow player, and I even excused/explained myself to him and his teamate, but since we had an argument which I clearly believe to have won, since he wasn't able to answer me in any way, he has since then attacked me. Is wanting the 2vs2 gold trophy for even a few seconds a sin? I don't really believe so, but ymbk has proven to me countless time that he is blind to reason.

Edit : ymbk is Norman... check the way they both type: it's identical, and not only that, but if you check his 3vs3 game against qi, he openly announces Norman as an account.

You get yourself into the top 10 to probably max 15 legitimately with a low number of games (won't work for a top 200 player of course...) Then you play 5 games at a time, win maybe 3 and lose 2. However you don't surrender your lost games but drag them on. Your 3 won games give you another 3 games to play, maybe you win 2 out of them... and after that you have 5 additional victories and no defeat which will hopefully give you first place. You can continue this stuff until you either get eliminaated in one lost game or you get 5 open losses.

For example I'm currently ranked 2258 in the 2v2 ladder while the number 1 team is at 2268. It would be very easy for me to dethrone them by increasing my game count, playing my victories fast and my losses slow. Good players know very well if they are in a winning or losing position. If not taken to the extreme with me running around till elimination it takes a trained eye to identify me as a fraud.

So I'm not a staller ymbk? If you check my 1vs1 games, you'll see that for yourself, or even my seasonal games. And if me and Buns really had wanted to be first, we would have stalled to get our first 10 games won, which we didn't.

YMBK being Norman is nearly as obvious as Pulsey being a staller.
