I don't know if you've seen GG's recent recruits, but they don't go for up and coming players anymore. All their players are very good when they recruit them nowadays from what I've seen. I think you ca be a tight knit community even with 20 active players honesty, depending on how often everyone is online and how much you play together. I think that masters will soon stop recruiting up and coming players as well, as they have plenty of talented members and can afford to be tighter on recruitment. Sometimes elite clans recruit for other reasons than purely the skill or potential of players.

It's mor important to have guys in a clan you get along well rather than just elite players. If that can be combined, awesome! If not, i'd rather join a less skilled clan.

The clan league is a good way to rank clans in term of skill. But for me, activity is, beside a good character, more important than high playing skill. Having someone to play at any time is something i don't want to miss ever again.

I would say I am pretty versatile and will do well in any format, even if new to it. But not on an elite level (say top 10) at anything, that is for sure.
