We can have a stream once the auction is done, to go over all the players bought and the prices they went for. We can also disclose the 2nd highest bid(but hide the identity of the club).

Just let people judge. I think that each player's own personal achievements are good enough.

What's the purpose of base value? Why just not start bidding from 0 and determine the final fee that way?

Giving a start value gives players a hint about the value of a player. It's impossible to know everyone so a little help might be appreciated from most

Players will have base prices. The reason is so that there won't be scenarios where only 1-2 managers have money left and get players for way too cheap after others go broke buying people.

The worth has got to take the fact you'll have them for 2 seasons and that there isn't many Nohhams their to win.

Why is there a max player count? Surely it would be better to let all the players be bought up, then managers can just choose not to run them (just like a reserve players in real life)

tojam some of us have lower win rates due to the fact we only play against good players, just take a look at me, i've calculated your way and i should be only worth about 24 Nohams which would be pretty cheap for me if most would say, maybe since i'm only playing 5 games it might be about the price i will get but that is for sure not accurate in any way

All stats are easy to alter, everyone know that...

I didn't say you had to use it, but if I were a manager, that would be my system of working out people's worth.

Also, you may end up playing players of exactly the same quality as those 'good players'.
