I wouldn't say Volcano and NoMercy should be on that list solely on the argument that they "win a lot of coins", if I only play 1000 coins game and win 1/2 playing 50 games a month I can reach them too... I wouldnt earn any coin though. Krzychu also plays a lot of coin games, and for me he's definetly better then both.

Yea, I'm a bit ashamed on that, but don't be a dick, I'm working on it. My 2v2 ladder record isn't bad though.

Has anyone ever played against almosttricky from [WG]? He's the most consistently great player I've met yet. What clans are these other players in so I can look them up?

best way to tell somebody isn't that good -- they are in a clan.

Billy you should write a strategy guide. Or at least tutor some guys so your knowledge won't be lost if you decide one day, that warlight got too boring due to lack of competition

i haven't read much strategy, so i don't know what is common knowledge and what i've figured out that would be worth teaching.

two things i do that i'm pretty sure a lot of people don't:

1: i take a screenshot of the map and my picks and constantly analyze it as i'm playing. i used to open it in photoshop and cross off areas where i knew my opponent wasn't and also where i was pretty sure he wasn't, to narrow down where to look for him and where to expand. i got so used to doing it that photoshop isn't necessary anymore but this process is central to how i play. for a lot of reasons but the easiest one to describe is that i don't make attacking or expanding mistakes. i see others do them all the time, when its obvious they just weren't looking at the map.

2. i don't click 'skip to end' i watch every single move we both take. and think about what is happening and why. i am sure i notice things my opponents don't while doing this and just think about the game much deeper than they do as a result.

as a consequence of those: i play a lot slower than most people do. putting more thought into the game will lead to better results.

i didn't play optimally in the late game. on purpose. i like to give guys like that a little hope, it's no fun when i curb stomp them immediately once we make contact and the game is over.

i meant 1v1. he has played that exact game 6,000 times and is still terrible.

i got a warning for 'Unsolicited offensive behavior' in this thread. But none of my posts are deleted.

What did I do wrong, you're not allowed to criticize other players?

Perhaps its where you just randomly post about a player and say how bad they are? Perhaps some people find that offensive.

When people tell you how bad you are, its because you ask for it, and they're right.

It is quite hard to get a warning on WL. That being said one easy way is to be disrespectfull on the forum. Also WL uses a double check on reports (e.g a mod recommends a warning, then someone else makes the final decision)

Don't hate on the people who reports you, but reflect over why you did receive a warning.
